The idea of being in the Tuscan countryside is beautiful until you spend a night at Bosco della Spina. We should’ve spent a little more and gone to another nearby property with more amenities. This property is located about 30 minutes outside of Siena, Taxis from Siena cost €70 each way. One must have a car if staying here. We were first turned off with their extremely uncomfortable bed and pillows. It was easier to sleep on the floor. Then guest services informed us of a €2 surcharge for extra towels for their pool. Seating is very limited in the pool area. Not much to do in the area and public transportation is very limited. The breakfast options are not worth the charge and the dinner is not great.

Our stay was really good .we stayed 2 nights as we enjoyed the hotel..but the area was great for taking in the wineries ...the location is wonderful..the pool is covered so very hot and humid to use..Oct.
