The problem was when we laid down there was bedbugs in the bed . Called the office and even tho we paid to upgrade to a smoking room on the 14th floor we were moved to a non smoking room on the 3rd floor at 1:30 in the morning . I called when we got to the new room and asked if they would give us a refund in the morning since we paid cash and was told that someone else would call back in 5 minutes which after waiting 20 mins I called back and they said they would refund us cash before we left. Workers that were painting the hotel were outside talking very loudly outside the window at 8 in the morning. We were told to leave our stuff in the room and only take necessities and that pest control would be there at 8am to treat the room. I waited till 10am to call and get an update on the room only to be told that they didn’t have an update and that that pest control never showed up and that it would be a while before they’d get to the room, and also that we needed to get our clothes out the room because they would not treat the room with our clothes in it and that we just needed to throw out clothes in the dryer. While I was still friendly I was also aggravated because they also couldn’t refund us for the price upgrade to a smoking room since their system went out.

We try and refund anyone having issues with pests and though we know they are brought in by other guests we try and do our best for every guest as we did for you.

STEER CLEAR of this property. Staff was super great BUT they cant control what management is doing. Painting the balconies - room reeked of paint. This was supposed to be a condo but I've had better kitchen rooms at any hotel. This was tight and small. The mattress had no support left at all. This is an expensive place. I had to sleep on the mini sofa with my feet hanging off. The couch was PLASTIC. No counter space in the "kitchen." Finally both travelocity AND the resort charged me a resort fee so I paid twice.

I am sorry to hear you are so disappointed with your room. Our one bedroom units do have queen size sleeper sofa some have a vinyl material, to avoid sunscreen stains of course, downside to being oceanfront, but are sorry they were not up to your taste. While they are 550sf, about twice the size of a hotel room, the kitchens are small as we didn't think most guests would want a larger kitchen over a larger living room. I do want you to know we have large 2 and 3 bedroom units up to 1,500sf with full size kitchens if you prefer for you next visit. We do hope you give us another chance and look at other rooms which might work as they are all individually owned and designed so we many many options and styles to choose from.

From the moment we arrived, the parking attendants made sure you knew where to go, check-in was simple and they informed you of all the amenities that were available. The rooms were clean and we had a great stay. Would definitely go again.
