Filthy. Scary people living there on the first floor. No tissues in the room. Stains on the comforters. Pool not open.

Filthy

This motel was the filthiest place I have had to ever spend a night. Traveled with family who had another room which was worse than ours. Had cockroaches and stained carpets, bedding, and peeling paint and wallpaper, while the doors had kick holes. Just terrible. Will think about using Travelocity's recommendations in the future. Extremely disappointed.

Needs some attention

The Niantic Hotel needs some attention. The rate is very reasonable, It's perfect for a one night stay, if you plan on a longer stay, I would look elsewhere. A few notes, there was no garbage can in the entire room, TV reception was very snowy, blow dryer did not work, in room phone did not workk as well. There seems to be permanent residents in the establishment, they seem very sketchy, so I would park the car closer to the main desk. Overall: If you don't care about where you stay for a one night and want to save some money, this place fits the bill, otherwise you will spend a lot more for other hotels in the area.

Wasn't very happy when we checked in, we were told that if we directly made a reservation it was only $10.00 for an extra person where making it through Travelocity we were charged $20.00. Good to know. Might think twice about using Travelocity again.
