Timber Ridge is a 600 sf cozy cabin apartment, 2 miles from the Natchez Trace and 6 miles southwest of Franklin Business district (Cool Springs), historic Franklin, and Battle of Franklin sites in a beautiful hillside, wooded setting. Built as a vacation rental with total privacy in mind for the guest, the owners live upstairs and have separate entrances for the guest - there is no “common area”. The guest enters through the red door on the side, see the pictures! Only 30 minutes from downtown Nashville and all of its attractions. This getaway on 9 acres of wooded hills sits in a Gatlinburg-like setting. Beautiful stone wood burning fireplace with 50 inch smart HD television make the nights very cozy in this ideal setting. Giga-speed fiber internet and YouTube TV with over 100 channels are both included. In the middle of a famous biking, hiking and scenic drive area year-round.

Country kitchenette, which includes stainless steel dishwasher, cooktop, microwave, and refrigerator, can be used for breakfast/meals. Outdoor patio includes hot tub, grill and Adirondack chairs.

Lovely little cabin
Pretty area. Hot tub was a nice bonus along with the wood burning fireplace. Plenty of firewood also available. Kitchen is very small… not many cooking amenities, but was functional for us. I would recommend an upgrade on the toaster oven or at least get a toaster. Decor was lovely and comfortable beds. My only concern was the noise from above at night. Not much sound proofing between floors. The ambiance and location is great. I would rent again.

Anniversary getaway
The cabin was a perfect quiet place to enjoy a weekend alone. The cabin is beautiful, the kitchenette had what we needed to make a few quick meals, and the hot tub was a treat. The owners were quick to respond and helpful!

LOVE this place!!
We fell in love with Franklin and Nashville and this place was the icing on the cake! It is so cozy and inviting! Most nights we’d fall asleep on the couch as we’d worn ourselves out! We’d eventually make it to the comfy bed and rest just long enough to get up and explore again! Everything was spotless! We had everything we needed and even got to do laundry before we left. Thank you for opening your little piece of heaven to us!!

Absolutely Beautiful but Poorly Kept
While you could not design the space more perfectly, the experience was very disappointing. The grill while reported by other guests' multiple times leading up to our stay is not usable. Kitchen appliances were dirty. Bed sags in the middle and was also reported by others. Tub fills with water above your ankles while showering and the shower curtain has more surface area with mold, than without. Wine glasses were dripping with dry wine. Couch is old and as uncomfortable as the bed. Very sorry the owner who has managed the property for over a decade, has failed to listen to others who have stated some of these same issues. Or worse yet...they have denied the issues and left them for others, like me, to experience. I would not return.
