The property was very clean and well kept. I loved the fact that the room was a suite, although we did not utilize much of this amenity for this trip, it will definitely impact my decision when taking a longer trip and utilizing the Staybridge franchise in the future. I can't say that there was anything that I didn't really like, except the signs around the pool stated that the pool closed at 9pm, but they told us that the closing time was 8:30pm and held tight to that closing time.

The property was wonderful as was the staff. I cold give both a 10 star rating! But the problem was with Travelocity!!! They booked me a room that the hotel did not have. I booked a room with two beds, the hotel had not had a two bed room for nearly a month prior to my booking. Travelocity refused to honor their booking! I was forced to put two hulking six foot men in a queen bed! Travelocity's customer service, which kept both the hotel manager on the phone for over an hour, absolutely is the worst of anyone I have ever dealt with. To make it even worse, Travelocity sent the booking over to the hotel as an Expedia reservation. This caused us another half hour of being placed on hold while the figured out what they had done. I cannot possible even give them a ZERO rating. Negative 10 would be my honest rating. NEVER EVER use Travelocity to book a room!!!!!!

When we checked in at 4pm, there was nobody in site. We rang the bell a few times to no avail. We noticed a sign that read "If nobody is available, please call the house phone". The only problem with this was that there was no phone in site. We looked all over and couldnt find one. When I attempted to use the employee phone at the desk, someone finally came out and rudely asked what I was doing. I explained that we had been waiting and she said I should have used the house phone. When I said we couldnt find it, she pointed to an adjacent wall with a rock/faux plant feature. Inside of the plant feature where no rational person would look, we found the phone. She then rudely asked what we wanted. When we said we wanted to check in for our reservation, her attitude changed slightly for the better, but was still dismissive overall. As we got on the elevator, the people who checked in behind us were also complaining about the same employee. The hotel itself was clean enough. You could tell it opened recently because there was a lot that was unfinished. Our bathroom door wouldnt close all the way, there was paint and trim missing from various spots in the room and the refrigerator was not plugged in. The cleaning staff was always nice and the breakfast was adequate. The hotel was quiet and is located close to a local shopping area.

Loved that the appliances were stainless steel and the cabinets were dark wood. I loved all of the pictures and decor and that the kitchen had actual silverware, dishes and pots and pans.very nice and well put together!
