Old interesting Hotel

2 star hotel in a 1 star area, but the price is right and the rooms are large as in the older days, and classic in style. Hotel staff is welcoming (Joann was really tops), and there isn't trash or other actual negative, only that the place has seen better days and the old style shows through, but it could still use an update. Clean rooms and area, including pool; BUT there is nothing really close to do "in town." Beach is across the street, but is rocky and small (mini Waikiki), and there are no quick and easy eateries right there. You can walk to food and nibbles, but the small stores/markets seem shady. Hot water takes a bit and there are no microwaves, but a small refer is there and a nice veranda let's you watch the local goings on. Nassau was truly disappointing all around, so a return trip won't be upcoming, however, if I did, we would stay here for the nature of "locality" and not paying the Resort Prices all over the island.

Hotel close to town center.

Pros: It's architectural charm and potential.
Cons: Everything.
Location: Close to town, restaurants and the beach.
No Hot Water in the bath unless you ask for it and only the Owner/Manager can turn it on, no Coffee or Tea provided or even available at any time. Grumpy manager. No restaurant open for breakfast or anything. I was advised to go around the corner to a coffee shop.

Dirty and dilapidated

This was an awful experience. I signed out after the first night. The floor was dingy and the bathroom curtains were filthy. It was below par and had no Internet access in the room

Nice beach was across the street from the hotel

Pros: Staff was very friendly
Cons: Give the hotel a new look with a brighter color paint.visitor need a microwave in room
Location: Location down town it was good get around very easy.get the bus right across the street pay $125 on the local bus tour it was great.
One thing I don't like I booked a reservation with travelocity for one night on July 23/2015 confirmation 7120975896679 room total cost $98.00 per night plus tax 7.35 total cost 105.35. when I arrived at El Greco hotel I was told they did not receive any confirmation number for the room that I booked with travelocity So I have pay a next fee for the room which cost $125.I would to get my 105.35 back.

Nice

Pros: Very nice. Room was spotless
Cons: Microwaves in rooms would be a plus. Although there is one in the lobby.
Location: Beach, Fish Fry, downtown area
Very nice small motel. Has about 30 rooms. Staff are very courteous. Pool had some leaves in it. The beach is right across the street and downtown is in walking distance or catch the Jitney Bus. Would book this motel again when in Nassau visiting family.

It works

Pros: price
Cons: a little maintenance goes along way, this could be a really nice place with some tlc
Location: The beach is across the street. About a 10 min walk to town. Short cab ride to fish fry or paradise island.
Was just staying here overnight to go on a scuba trip the next day. It served the purpose. There is a nice beach directly across the street and a few restaurants within walking distance. The overall was average and in need of cosmetic type maintenance. I would stay here again for this purpose.
