Virtual kidnapping

I experienced a "virtual kidnapping" of my 12 year old son and 84 year old mother. Sure someone at the facility was involved. Contacted US Embassy and was assisted. A cruel and horrific experience and trip. Stay away from this place. REALLY!

Hotel has no elevator, room was on the 3rd floor.

Pros: Liked the ocean view.
Cons: Complimentary shuttle only ran a few times per day to the local beach. Should also offer shuttle service to Atlantis area.
Location: Not much to do around the hotel. Need to take a taxi ($20 including tip) to Atlantis area to restaurants/shopping/bars, etc.
Had I known there was no elevator at the hotel, I would have paid a few dollars more and stayed somewhere else. Only stayed there one night, but on vacation for 8 days, and had to carry my luggage up 3 flights of stairs - and back down the next morning. Rooms were dated, musty and not very clean. I'm not very picky, but how it rates a 4 out of 5 stars is beyond me. Although I didn't use it, the pool area looked nice, but small.

Paradise island @ Festiv

The hotel is an older property but clean and well maintained. Staff were courteous and helpful. Great value for a paradise island property. It's on the marina which give a great view of Nassau on the other side. Perfect location.
