Location of hotel was not bad. It was not the view of the city that I had on previous stays at this hotel. My city view room was - if you stood at the left side of the window and looked to the far right you could see the city. Otherwise is was the side of a building across the street. I paid extra for this poor city view. I could not believe it was even advertised as such. Definately no WOW view that I had experienced in the past. So beware this hotel may not deliver on their promises, and some descriptions are greatly exagerated.

Carlos the bellman was excellent! But our room was really small and the AC wasn't working and almost to hot to sleep. If it weren't for Carlos our stay would have been really bad. But Carlos was kind, helpful and gave us good pointers in how to get places for our 1 night stay. Thanks Carlos

Hotel didn’t have my reservation or information properly, Hotel staff was rude and not friendly, my room AC never work, I called them 8 times to get fix, and all 8 times they told me it was fixed but only work for 20 min and turned off again! Overall not a good experience!

So my room didn’t have heat…and it was 18•. They gave us a refund on 1 night. The front staff was awesome we ordered a microwave and it was to my room before I could get there. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Smaller rooms but it’s New York! I didn’t spend a whole lot of time in the room. Get out and see the city! (Use the bathroom beforehand it’s hard to find one)

Service in the restaurant was poor. Although it was understandable that they were out of things, the waitress had no idea what they had in stock and had to keep leaving to check.
