We waited an hour and a half for our room to be ready, which we were told was because of staffing. However multiple groups of people who arrived after us were checked into rooms. The room we finally got was clean but shabby with a lot of wear and tear. The room lights were very bright and the dimmer did not work. There was only low light in the bathroom and water temperature in the shower was very hot or cold, unable to calibrate. The beds were soft and lumpy and the carpet was stained. The staff was friendly, professional and tried to be helpful but the hotel was so disappointing. The manager comped us the “resort fee” which was appreciated but I cannot imagine what that fee would be for since the outdoor pool was closed. We visit NYC often and chose Dream for the location but will not be staying here again.

Check staff that I worked with me was amazing( shorter stocky gentleman) the servers/ bartenders need to revisit customer service skills. From the Café, lobby bar, rooftop bar and the Asian restaurant were not professional even unkind at times. The hotel needs a refresh but it’s very safe and in a fantastic area.the outside company that handles the roof top event is arrogant and deplorable (tried to refuse me entry in hotel) not the first time it happened.

Already communicated with the property directly. Know that this is a hotel for a younger crowd - late loud music, vibrant bar scene, etc. If you want sleep, chose a different location.
