The staff was friendly and helpful. The concierge was especially helpful and arranged a lovely welcome for our 50th anniversary celebration. The facility was clean and nicely decorated. The rooms were adequate. The staff listened to our requests and made sure to meet all our needs. The only complaint we have was the elevators. They had three but the middle one rarely worked. We had to wait a long time for an empty car several times.

The staff was incredible. So accommodating. The room smelled like dirty sports clothes. So we switched and the next room smelled the same. Blech. But we were exhausted and the location was perfect. So I took an ambien and tried not to think about the smelly bedding.

We had booked in for three nights but some how this caused a problem. One night had been booked by travelocity and then the two nights by travelocity, however the broken nature of this reservation cause problems at reception, I was asked to verity my ID on three occasions, had not come across something like this before. Location was good. Thought it might be closer to Times Square and Theater District than the Hampton Inn Times Square North location because of its name "Central", but isn't. Since it is a large hotel, would be nice if there were two breakfast stations to avoid the overcrowding.
