Very nice hotel in a great location. Plain room but larger than typical for Manhattan. And they even have daily Continental breakfast. Steps from subway. Being on the edge of K-town, you have great close-by options for excellent Korean food. I was very pleased.

Great location, good staff, older place

An 8 night stay in a great location. Easy walk to Penn Station, Times Square and the Empire State Building. Subway close by. Lots of restaurants and bars around. Most Major Broadway theatres are an easy walk. The hotel staff are excellent - friendly and helpful. The hotel itself is very dated and could definitely do with a makeover. The room was small, with a closet. There was a fridge, room safe, desk. Convenient charging points. A nice wine bar and an adequate Continental breakfast. The bed was the most comfortable I've had in the last 2 months of travelling around the USA. Unfortunately the Wi-Fi rarely connected, and the heating was often blowing cold air even when on maximum heat. Whilst the shower had good hot water and water pressure, it usually took nearly 2 minutes for hot water to actually come out. I would stay again for a short stay, but a longer stay, I would find somewhere else.

Fun, lively neighborhood, charming hotel

My husband I enjoyed the neighborhood and hotel itself was lovely. Our room was surprisingly spacious, free continental breakfast was better than most and room and service was very nice. Staff was attentive and efficient.

This property works for us. The room is small which is expected of a city like NY or Paris. The bathroom is large and functional. The location is close to the station, dining options, shopping. Simple breakfast is included so it's convenient when you don't have time in the morning and need to rush to an event. The area is lively but safe at the same time. The location is one hop to time square, one hop to the library, walking distance to the Vessel. I would stay here again.

What a great find near the empire State building a

Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Coffee and tea were available all day. Microwave was made available in the evening. A fun bar happened at night. The breakfast while simple and basic did include hot foods and delicious coffee and tea options with a very friendly service even bananas and apples and bottles of water were offered.

I have only good things to say, from the friendly, helpful staff, to the excellent breakfast in a room with softly playing classical music. Very comfortable bed. Great location to Chelsea, midtown, Penn Station and NYPL. Would definitely stay here again.
