The Salisbury Hotel is an older hotel in a very good location within 1/2 a block from two subway lines. The room was large with two double beds, a night stand, two club chairs, a 6 drawer dresser, a desk with chair, refrigerator, sink, and microwave. It also has a large, walk in coat closet. What I didn't like was the location of the toilet tissue holder in relation to the toilet seat. You would have to get up off the seat to reach the tissue, so I just removed it from the holder and kept it on the water tank of the toilet. Also, the shower curtain was short so you had to be careful that it was inside the tub for showers, otherwise you would have water all over the floor. My final complaint was the elevator. I am not sure how many rooms are in the hotel, but I was lucky to be on the 17th floor as only one of the two elevators was in operation. It appears that one elevator has been out of service for some time and it did not appear that it would be repaired anytime soon. The hotel staff were very helpful to allow us to use their service elevator.
