The room was clean and comfortable. Close to everything. Great location. It was noisy at night, could hear everything from the hall and upstairs. The heater was noisy too. Like Freddy Kruger was trying to get out of the boiler room. Overall it was a great stay.

It was extremely convenient as far as location is concerned. Literally everything was within 10 mins walking distance. The room was very small but i only stayed in the room to sleep and get dressed so i didn't mind. The bathroom is advertised as shared, but it's not really explained well. So the bathroom is separate from the room. You have to walk to it. There are two shower stalls, and two toilet stalls. You share with the floor. But it wasn't that bad. I would stay there again.

Room bigger than expected, quiet , good location easy to get to by public transportation and felt safe as a solo female traveler. No mirror in bathroom or my room. No sign on building, apparently its a multi use bldg. No pamphlets or maps for tourists. Front desk mediocre. For the price its a good deal.

Ghastly, don't ever stay here!

Pros: The elevator worked ok.
Cons: It shouldn't be listed as a hotel. It shouldn't be on Travelocity. If that can't happen than they should change the deceptive picture.
Location: I guess the location is ok. Close to Penn Station, Greeley Square, etc. But I can't stress enough that this is a dirty, dirty and disgusting place.
It's my own fault as I didn't read the full description. SHARED BATHROOMS! Don't go by the picture given as that IS NOT THE "HOTEL", it's next door. Ok so my husband and I got to the "hotel", there was no front desk. Only a security guard sitting on a stool. He gave us an envelope with a code and room number. When we got to the door of our room, a little square thing held the key. The lobby was actually kind of nice, a lot of people making use of it. Anyway we got up to our room. 2 double beds that were ok. The kitchenette did not have a coffee maker. The "wide screen TV" was about 12", only one bed could see it. Maybe 7 channels in all. The light is a ceiling fluorescent, no other lights in the room. We had to buy a small lamp to use. No Wi-Fi in the rooms only in the lobby. Now I know why it was being used. We had to side-step between the beds and the wall to get around the room. The hallways were completely dirty and dank. The very worst part was the SHARED BATHROOMS. It could have been ok but no. I can't describe the disgustingness of the women's room. I didn't take pictures of it unfortunately. Dark and flooded. Dirty and gross. Just unbelievable. I've never been so happy to get home to my bathroom. Hardly any of the staff spoke English. The other people who lived there were very nice, but they lived there. All in all it was a horrible experience and if I didn't already pay (no cancelations) I would have left. But I don't have a lot of money and couldn't afford it

Failure to disclose

Travelocity failed to uncover the fact there was no restroom in the room. In addition, travelocity failed to disclosed there was no restroom on the entire floor!. Contacted Travelocity upon checkin with no resolution, uncovered the fact this hotel was under investigation for advertising rooms without meeting NYC building permits (google search) and 2 weeks later Travelocity has failed to respond. Thankful for VISA merchant protection on this terrible transaction
