There's a retro glamour to the property we loved. Rooms are good sized for NYC, well appointed and clean. Sadly we did have a view of the building next door and HVAC system but the rooftop bar Upstairs was spectacular. Staff was fantastic: room service and doorman were so helpful. Construction closed the street during our stay and they walked up to the corner to help us hail a taxi. Walking distance to shopping, restaurants and more. Safe area if you apply the usual cautions. Highly recommend.

I have stayed at the Kimberly multiple times and it gets better every time. Everyone is really nice and will do anything to make sure your stay is wonderful. The rooms are clean and the beds are great, always sleep good in them. The showers are great and robes are comfortable as well. I love the suites with balconies, its just a wonderful stay. Close to the subways that take uptown as well as downtown. just a block away.

I really like the room overall. Staff very nice also. Unique: the room had a Toto toilet with all the controls! But the controls did not work. Remote maybe out of batteries? ( I realize this is a ridiculously First World problem.) The bedroom in our suite (3B) had ceiling paint that was bubbled and looked about to crack. The heat in bedroom did not work -- very cold!

Pros:The bed was incredibly comfortable. The staff was gracious and the food was good (albeit expensive). Con: Big picture windows with the ugliest view ever!

The Kimberly is a fantastic hotel. It’s clean and spacious. Our room had a balcony. The staff was the best of any hotel I have ever stayed. We will definitely go back!

The staff was excellent, very accommodating and friendly. The bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was tiny, but that was to be expected in Manhattan. The rooms featured drinks and snacks for purchase, a microwave and small drink fridge, a nice sized TV, umbrellas (which came in handy), robes, slippers, and even a shoehorn and shoe shiner. The property was close enough to Rockefeller, Time Square, and Central Park to be convenient, but far enough away to be somewhat quiet, and Ess-a-Bagel is right around the corner. Quick access to the subway and to our tour bus stop, and the doorman was quick to help hail a cab. I would definitely stay here again.
