The property was in an okay location. Would not recommend the restaurant in the hotel for breakfast, take the walk to the Court Square Diner. A short walk to the subway. Uber access was easy. The bathroom door was rotting at the bottom, disgusting. Was there a sale on those God awful bowl style sinks?! The are awful. Why can't they just install normal sinks and make life easy? Beds were comfortable. Room was very dry, woke up needing to drink water during the night. Happy we did not spend too much time in our room. Two nights would be my limit. Happy to be home. And why don't the TV's have MSNBC? I'm in NY, I expected more. Wyndham needs to clean up their act. Staff was excellent. I wish they worked under better conditions.

Nice location to the ferry. The room was ran down looking. Wallpaper peeling. Rotting/water damaged bathroom doors. Small TV. Restaurant was Chinese food only and ran down looking as well. 1st time in New York and aware that hotels prices are extremely high but would never pay to stay there again.

Don't stay in any room that ends on 10.

Our room shared a wall with the ice machine that made noise CONSTANTLY! This was extremely annoying. Otherwise hotel was OK. Buffet breakfast that was offered for $12 was a joke.

Great NY Area Hotel

Pros: Location, Cleanliness, room was smaller (like other NYC hotels) but quite adequate for 2, staff
Cons: They are definitely cost conscious - Additional towels would be great
Location: Visit the LIC Market restaurant for a great breakfast / brunch. For adventurous types, there's a Citybike rack and a rock climbing gym nearby
The Wyndham is overall a great hotel for the budget conscious NY traveler. The hotel is located in the Queens - Long Island area right across the East river from Midtown. The Court Square Subway station is a quick 10 minute walk and you are in the city in no time at all. They have a shuttle that can take you to the Subway at scheduled intervals but we never used it. It's a clean, reasonably priced hotel with minimal amenities - No room fridge, there is a small work out room, restaurant, wifi. The area around the hotel is industrial/residential with an eclectic mix of people. There are a number of small restaurants, grocery stores between the hotel and Court Square. The staff is accommodating and polite

For the decent price

Pros: It was okay.
Cons: The landscape.
Location: A mile into LIC offers many options for shopping and eating. Nothing around the corner.
For a decent price, the room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. If you don't care about views out the window, or having your room across from the elevator and ice machine, it was a suitable hotel. The view out of our window included a taxi cab plot, lots of construction equipment in another plot, industrial buildings, and a view of the Queensboro bridge. The restaurant in the lower level specializes in Sushi. The neighborhood has one small convenience store, otherwise, be prepared to walk a mile into Long Island City for food stores and many restaurants.

Nice rooms

Overall great experience. Location is good, close to restaurants/ public transit/ bike rentals too! The heating system is noisy at night. That was the annoying part. No vending machines but they have water at the front desk for $1.00. Breakfast not included which I thought was standard.
