Females- do NOT rent alone.
I booked this place for me, my sister and 2 adult nieces. I did book for just 1 person accidentally. On the afternoon of my arrival I had not heard from him regarding a code to get in. I sent a message asking for the code as well as where the nearest laundry would be. He responded by asking me “if I was coming alone” and by saying, “he would take me to where the laundry was” when I got there at midnight. He then called me to ask the same question… was I coming alone?
I said No and asked why he wanted to know. He said because I had only booked for 1 person even though it’s a 4 bedroom apartment. I assured him I was not alone and told him it would be midnight or so when we arrived. When we arrived there was NO PARKING as promised. There was a space to the right of his vehicle. I tried to get into that space but couldn’t. I called him and he said to just pull into that space. I explained I could not. I had already had to send him a second messages asking for the code.
Because f his earlier questions about coming alone, I already didn’t feel very safe but when we arrive to our 3rd floor apartment all lights are on. In my call I asked him about that and he just kept saying, “can you just go in???” He asked if JUST ONE OF US could come inside to just see the place. I told him I was not comfortable at all with this environment. My gut said this was sent safe for women traveling alone and I asked for a refund which he has so far refused
