The B&B is located in a quiet town. Dale greeted us at the door and showed us the room. We were delighted to find the room and house were both immaculately clean. Dale gave us some dinner suggestions and a key so we can come and go as we pleased. The room had a TV and the bathroom was shared between the three rooms. I read in one of the reviews that they only accept check or cash so I was prepared when we arrived. That was one of the only draw backs. The breakfast was fantastic! It was nice to chat with the other couple that was staying there and their food was great. Overall I was extremely happy with our stay and so happy that we chose to stay there instead of Niagara Falls.

What a GEM!

My wife and I were not expecting a whole lot because this area is not quite the tourist attraction that Niagra Falls or Niagra-on-the-Lake but we were pleasantly surprised. We biked the Greater Niagra Circle Route so we needed a place to stay and found a gem. The town of Thorold has a lot of history to offer and is a cute little town along the canal. Walking into town for dinner was quite easy. Robinsong was just wonderful. Our hosts made us feel very easy and at home. They were very informative about the history of the area and just plain fun to talk with. The house is very nice with traditional charm of an older home. We were able to keep our bikes in the garage at night for safety so that was great. We were too tired to take a swim in the pool though. Breakfast was incredibly delicious! One of our best experiences ever! Highly recommend!

Cons: Small window air conditioner.
Wonderful hosts who have a beautiful well maintained property. Bed was comfortable. Host is very knowledgeable of the history of the town and area. Recommended a great restaurant in town of Thorold, Ontario.
