Not what we expected after reading the reviews this villa got
Disappointed with this property. We booked this villa because of the good reviews it had on VRBO. The Villa needs updating. It smelled damp inside. It seemed very dark inside the Villa. The pools filtering system didn't work the pool never looked clean and inviting. The pool area we had to brush everyday and clean the leaves out of the pool. On a windy day the leaves were everywhere. The Villa was close to the supermarket, a bakery and a McDonald's. It was a good 20 minute walk to the train station and beach which was difficult in the heat. We used a lot of taxis to get about. We were disappointed overall with the Villa itself. We would not recommend to stay in this property.

Very nice house and lovely owners
We visited this property with the whole family and had a very good time. Reception from the owners couldn't have been better. Chantal and Gilbert were really lovely people to meet.

Another fabulous two weeks
This was our second year in a row at Gilbert and Chantal's lovely property. We cannot fault it as the owners are charming and are fully available for any query. Their son comes to clean the pool and check on us regularly. The house has everything one needs and made even more attractive by close proximity to shops and facilities. We will return!

It does not get any better!
I will be short only because I wish to come back every year for the rest of my life. And I don't want this incredible gem to be too full to accommodate us! But in fairness, this house is the best house I have ever stayed in, rented, or fantasized about. I have lots of professional and personal experience and this house is honestly the best EVER! Location, comfort, spirit, convenience, detail - it is impeccable. The layout is so ideal and the grounds so amazing. The house itself? Gosh, it is perfection, I keep threatening my french husband that I will not leave! This is OVER 5-star.

Beautiful and elegant
Beautiful French home in the south of France on the cote d’azur. The house is beautiful, it’s very elegantly furnished and decorated with a lot of taste. Fully equipped and with full amenities. It is very comfortable for eight people and the beds are great. The house is situated in a very nice area, walking distance from everything you would need for groceries, shopping and or dining so you can fully enjoy the French lifestyle. Parking space is available for at least two cars and maybe three inside the property. The swimming pool is a very nice size and it is surrounded by an activity area with ping-pong or Foosball. And the owners are extremely friendly and care about their guests. I would love to go back.

Wonderful property for families in great location
We could not have asked for more from the owners of this wonderful home in Cagnes sur Mer. Our welcome included a refrigerator filled with treats and refreshments, which were very much appreciated by all members of our family. My eldest daughter was able to reconnect with her Parisian friend, and we visited many sights from this location to include Biot, Antibes, Haut de Cagne, Villa Ephrussi de Rothschild, St. Paul de Vence, Vence and Pont du Loop. My son-in-law spent a day at Monte Carlo as well. Wonderful spacious comfortable home with warm and welcoming hosts. Thank you Gilbert, Chantal and Fabrice for your warm hospitality.

A lovely week in the South of France
My husband and our 9 month old stayed at this beautiful property from May 12-May 19th, 2019 and we had a lovely week. Our hosts Gilbert and Chantal couldn’t be sweeter, they met us at the property and showed us around and explained things. And even put a few little welcome snacks and a bottle of Rosè in the fridge. The house is beautiful and has that Provence charm of a rustic French villa. It was definitely very big for the 2 of us and baby but we liked the pool and the beautiful terrace so decided to stay here anyway. If you have a bigger family or even a couple of families travelling together it’s perfect. We would love to return with our parents some time and when baby gets a bit bigger to enjoy the pool. Definitely recommend this property, it is well taken care of, is well stocked with everything you would need to make nice dinners and have a comfortable stay. The supermarket nearby was a huge bonus and had everything we needed to make fresh breakfasts and dinners. Excellent place to stay!

Amazing villa and very nice owners
We stayed at this beautiful villa for a week at the end of June and had a great time. The villa is very tastefully done with all amenities thought of. We had ample lot of space for a group of 4 adults and 3 kids. Kids had a great time in the pool and the game tables outdoors. Adults enjoyed the coziness and the comfort of the house, the well appointed interiors, nice and relaxing patio and a kitchen that has everything you would need to cook and serve a party of 7 and more. The location is very convenient too - there is a supermarket just a few minutes walk away and an amazing bakery a few more minutes away. It was also very easy to get to different places of interest in the French Riveria by road from the villa. And the best of it is that the owners - Chantal, Gilbert and their son are very hospitable and friendly. They seem to be very well travelled and hence even though we did not speak French, we did not have much trouble understanding each other. Thanks a lot Chantal and Gilbert for having us at your beautiful villa, we all had a very enjoyable and comfortable stay during our vacation.
