the reception staff was good. she was friendly and courteous. we went to the room, left our stuff and left again for a a couple hours. when we came back HOWEVER, and went to put some food items in the refrigerator, I found food that had been left from prior quests and also food in the microwave. I question if the room had been cleaned. They did offer us to move to another room but by that time we had already settled in so we declined a new room but requested a discount on the amount we paid. They were going to speak to the manager and get back to us. they had apparently ran the credit card already so I'm not sure how this is going to be accomplished.

Our room had a overwhelming scent of deodorizer and pee marks all over the rug where you didnt feel comfortable taking your shoes off . The building is old and run down not worth the cost i I expected much better.

Breakfast was a breakfast sandwich and water. I understand things are difficult right now, but as a breakfast attendant in a hotel I know that more could be offered. A bagel, fruit, yogurt...etc.

Hotel was clean and fairly new, well priced, and efficient. However, they didn’t have coffee/tea and cream/sugar in the rooms like the other hotels we stayed in this week (said it was due to COVID), and our room door was right next to the ice machine, which was horrible. People got ice as late as 2am and as early as 6 am, and the noise woke us up every time. No one should have to stay in that room, or even better, the ice machine needs to be relocated to a secluded spot!
