Rugby East
We booked a family room but were allocated a double room. The staff did correct this and give us a drinks voucher which was nice but the rooms smelt stale and were very stuffy.

Not great value for money
Decent sized room with comfortable bed. Shower ok, no bath. Air conditioning very noisy. Overall the room was OK, although not worth the price charged. Food is poor, small portions, not well prepared, much of it lacking in flavour. Restaurant/bar area has no atmosphere. Nothing local as an option to walk to as this is on an industrial estate, but good location close to M1 and A5.

Only looked at two things when booking - did it have a restaurant and air con. A yes to both according to the listing. Arrived at 8.30 to learn the restaurant had closed. Had a few pints in the bar and asked for match of the day to be put on tv (we were the only ones there) only to be told that the licensing didn’t allow bbc to be shown! Returned to room only to find the air con didn’t work. Staff friendly enough and tried to be helpful but disappointing stay overall.

Entirely satisfactory
This is our 2nd visit and it’s more than satisfactory. The rooms are of a good size and clean, the bed is comfortable and it was quiet. What more do you need?
