This Agroturismo is built within an old monastery. We had a nice welcome by the owner. The room was very large and furnished with quality beds (parents and child). It also included a lounge corner. The bathroom is equipped with a nice walk-in shower and modern design fixtures that contrasts with the old stone walls and wooden beams. Breakfast was small but OK with fruits, cheese, home-made jams, eggs, etc. and a great coffee machine for a true Italian espresso. The ruins of Noto Antica are just a short walk away, i.e. a nice goal for a family walk or a short run.
On the flip side, Borgo Alveria doesn’t have a restaurant. As the resort is located remotely on a small rural road, count at least 12-15 minutes to the nearest restaurant, or 25 minutes to reach the beautiful town of Noto.
