The Embassy Suites Waikiki is a great hotel in a great location. The breakfast buffet has everything you could ask for including made to order omelets. The evening reception was a nice bonus and included chips & salsa, pretzels, peanuts, Chex mix and veggies with dip. Each guest receives two tickets per day for free drinks including both alcoholic and non-alcoholic options. The pool area is beautiful and big enough to accommodate a lot of people. The hotel is conveniently located within walking distance to numerous shops and restaurants. The beach is an easy 5 minute walk. The rooms are well equipped with two rooms, microwave, fridge, safe, two TVs and balcony with chairs. Perhaps the overall best thing about this hotel is the friendly staff. Everyone we interacted with went above and beyond to ensure a perfect stay. From the towel/pool attendant, the breakfast attendants, the bell service, the front desk staff and the housekeepers, everyone was so friendly and did all they could to make our stay perfect.

The hotel is very conveniently located near beach, shopping & dining area. The rooms are bigger than other hotels in the area and have microwave & mini fridge inside. The free breakfast option is good as long as you keep your expectations in check. There is usually a line for breakfast and especially for made to order eggs which is to be expected. The line moves relatively fast. You also get a ticket for one free cocktail during cocktail hours in the evening, which provides nice break. The parking in hotel is expensive but other hotels in the area have similar fees. Also, valet parking is the only option which limits access to car. Overall very nice hotel, would recommend with one caveat - we had to spend two nights in a noisy room next to two or three elevators (that's how the room was structured). It was like freight train passing through the room all night. We were moved to a quieter room when one became available. If you are a light sleeper then this can become a major issue. For two nights I had trouble falling asleep and woke up abruptly in the morning to the sound of elevators. If I had to spend rest of my vacation in that room this review would've been very different. None of the above things would have mattered without good sleep.

Location is 5*, 2mins walk to the beach and in the heart of shopping strip. Valet parking service is excellent but the price of $50 per night is a little too much. Breakfast comp but almost the same items everyday. Kitchen should highly consider new menus instead of repeating. Comp 2 drink tickets to happy hour is great. Lenora checked us in but customer service not upto par. No smile and not willing to create conversation or welcome guests. Asked about weather and said dont know coz i dont live around here. I guess staff should know basic answers related to hotel and location. Rita at valet was exceptional. Awesome service and helpful. Men desk staff very ignorant, only service who they felt like. Not welcoming and not offering to service, not even looking at you.
