The owner was rule obsessed and creepy. No security lock on the door. Glad I wasn't traveling alone. He has little grasp of the concept of hospitality. Location is the only advantage of this motel. I expect more for the price. If I knew what I know now, I'd sleep in my car a Walmart parking lot.

A little outdated but great stay!

Had a great stay at Long Beach Motor Inn! We were up in Maine for a wedding and needed a place with decent prices and thankfully we found this little place! It is directly parallel with the beach so it was so lovely waking up and seeing and hearing the ocean immediately. The staff was extremely friendly and took all measures to provide us with a comfortable and safe stay ( he took pictures of our car to make sure if anything happened we would be safe). You can tell the staff (owner?) Loves what he does which makes a huge difference. We will definitely be back! Thanks Gary!

Right across the street from the beautiful Long Be

Pros: Its cozy family feeling. Right across from the water. Easy access to everything.
Cons: It was perfect
Location: Defintely the LOng Beach. The Cliff Walk at Harbor Beach. Nubble Lighthouse. Dunne's Ice Cream Surfing at LONG BEACH. SUNSETS AND SUNRISE WALKS.
It was a charnomg mom and pop kind of place. Friendly and hospitablle. We loved the owner Gary, who treated us with care and respect. He would help us in any way he could. He has run this business for 39 years and loves his work and the people. He knows the area and can recommend places to eat and get ice cream and tour.

The owner was very nice- great location!

It is evident that the owners keep up on maintenance. However, some things do need upgrading rather than maintenance! The beds and pillows are harder than a rock and the sheets and towels are thread bare. There is a pervasive ammonia type odor in the room. No coffee maker. The pool was delightful and we appreciated the hose to rinse our sandy toes. I am not sure our car will ever be the same after going over three huge speed bumps that were installed to deter people from turning around. The beach was phenomenal and that was the purpose of the visit. In summary- it is expensive and hard work to be in this industry. Kudos to this family owned motel for keeping it going. But- people will not come back year after year if they are not comfortable the first time they visit.

Our guest love our firm beds ! We do clean with soft scrub & Bleach . The speed bumps have nothing to do with turning . They are designed to slow the cars down so no one is ever hit by a car again ! I am sorry you might have been uncomfortable but all of our beach front properties are no different
