When my wife got in the car i could spell the lobby's scent on here. Whatever incense or perfume was there really stints.

Fairly Noisy - inside and out

OK for the night, but I did expect more for the price. I tried to move my room to be further away from the main road, but that turned out to be impossible. And around 1:30 am, my smoke detector started beeping incessantly. Not much to be done about it, except turn the AC fan on full blast.

Okeechobee

Pros: Staff was nice
Cons: too much to write
Location: Lake Okeechobee, Fishing
Apparently the hotel changed it's name between the time I booked and my stay. They said it was the same owner. Very old, tired motel, especially for the money. I have stayed at this property several years back and it was OK. It's really gone downhill since then.

Great Motel

Pros: Very clean, staff very nice and helpful, priced well.
Cons: Coffee and tea available 24-7
We stayed 2 nights in one of their newly renovated rooms. Very clean, nicely decorated. Upon arrival, front desk area was being renovated which they apologized for...apology really not needed as check-in smooth and professional. Would highly recommend.

No where else to stay.

Pros: Not sure what to say here. I felt like it was going to be a mixed bag going in but there were no other rooms available in the area.
Cons: Cleaner rooms and better understanding about how the receipts are handled.
Location: Location was convenient. We were there to visit with family who is very ill so things to do doesn't apply.
My brothers and I were visiting family in the area and got caught with no others options but the Flamingo. They had signs that said they were remodeling. I can live with that but there was an awful lot of just plain uncleanliness in my room. The staff was accommodating to allow each of us to sign into our rooms and pay individually even though I made the reservations and guaranteed the reservations with my credit card. However when I checked out I was told that my receipt would be sent to me by Travelocity. That makes me uneasy. Is this normal when you use Travelocity? This was my first time using Travelocity. After I booked the rooms I received a confirmation which showed the total costs. My fear is I am going to have a mess on my hands getting charges removed from my credit card. Hope that isn't the case.
