Room was in need of a real cleaning and a renovation. Bathroom door was 24 inches wide and could not be opened all the way because it hit the curved shower curtain bar. The bathroom floor was sticky forcing me to cover it with towels. Furniture was old, scratched up and nasty looking and the bedspread was ugly and uninviting as were the curtain that was torn and hanging off the rod. Positive, the desk clerk at check in was friendly and informative.

Our rooms were dirty n smelled. Holes in the walls.. towles were dirty and the bath tub would not drain.

I like the fact that it was very centrally located and easy to get to. Its not that I didn't like it, but the entire motel could use an update. Especially the rooms. There were holes in the walls. One room had the smoke detector missing (not good when my entire family are in a fire department and can't stress enough the importance of smoke detectors. The Room number was 1010.) That made me a little uncomfortable. There were just wires hanging where it was at one time.

I was very happy with my stay at Days Inn Shawnee. It is located in the ideal spot. The manager was a super nice lady to work with. I would most definitely stay there again.
