Clean, frugal, and kind

The staff here is exceptionally thoughtful, well-mannered. Clean room (queen x2) though it was a bit small for 4 people. Breakfast buffet is not for everyone: most items are out of a freezer. Could have skipped the velveeta omelette. Seems to be on par for what other hotels are offering as a continental + a few hot items. Overall, a good experience.

The room smelled a little like stale smoke, but was otherwise fine. The beds and pillows were too soft for me, but that's a preference thing. The staff was very friendly and accommodating and went above and beyond for us!

Over all

It was ok. A well used room, it was tidy but not clean. Staff was a bit smug. Not very inviting, it needs work. The breakfast was the average breakfast you’d get at most places I’d suggest offering some sausage though the bacon disintegrated wham you touched it.

Nice hotel. Kind staff. Good breakfast selection.

We were very happy with hotel. We were quite disappointed that the boiler wasn't working while we were there and the swimming pool was cold. The pool was one of the main reasons we chose this hotel. :-(

Pros: price, location, cleanliness
Nice clean rooms. Hot breakfast buffet with hotel staff constantly replenishing supplies.Hotel within walking distance to several restaurants and stores.
