room was clean and comfortable. staff was nice and helpfull. the pool was closed though. there was no fridge or micro wave in the room. but we found several good places to eat nearby. we had a good trip to the zoo. would do it again.

This Marriot is under rated. This should be a 4.5. I wlould of gave it a 5 star but the restaurant area is tiny and no continental breakfast. The rooms are super clean and gorgues Excellent staff very attentive. Nearbly restaurant Flemings is a 5 star restaurant, the iced seafoond plate is excellent but be prepared to spend some cash.

The staff was very friendly. The property is in the process of being remodeled, so there was some things that were being worked on, but it was understandable why some things were in the state they were. The only real complaints I have are that the pool was not available for use. I did not realize this until we arrived. We have two children, and drove an eight hour stretch on our way back home from vacation. I picked this hotel for the pool, so my kids could have some wind down time after a long drive. There was nothing on the listing stating that the pool was temporarily closed. I only found out by seeing a printed out sign at the desk when we arrived. Had I have known that, I would have chose a different location to stay. Secondly, I was under the understanding that the breakfast would be complimentary, but when we went to eat before checking out, there was a sign by the food that said breakfast would be $9. Overall, the experience wasn’t awful, just a little disappointing. We had a clean bed and shower for the night, and that was what we needed for our trip home.

Don't make a reservation here. They overbook and you are left without a place to stay. They don't call or let you know. They don't help you find new accommodations. They had no phones lines that worked. Offered no resolution or compensation for the problem. And for those of us in our group that got a room we ended up with some kind of insect bites after the trip.

one of the worst experiences i’ve ever had staying at a hotel. bought a nearly $450 room for 2 nights with 2 queen beds only to receive a king bed with a pull out couch. to add insult to injury, the pull out couch didn’t have any clean sheets ready, and after calling, 30 minutes later did we have to get the sheets from the lobby ourselves. when i complained to the front desk this morning they told me they would have a room ready when i came back later in the day — can you guess what i didn’t get when we came back? if you guessed the same room we overpayed for you’d be correct. i promptly ask for a refund of some sort to accommodate me and they could only give me dinner tickets for the night. a $16 dinner isn’t going to make up for a $100 or so room difference. never staying again.

No Hot Water Morning or Nite

3/16-18/2018... HVAC decided to quit working and leaked water all over floor. 3-17-18 No hot water in morning or evening. HVAC in 2nd RM wouldn't heat past 70. Over priced breakfast buffet ! Don't waste your $. All it is is an extended continental breakfast which should be included at minimal cost. Dirty room service dishes on 4 of the levels we saw. Sat on floors all day. 5th yr staying at this Sheraton and this was by far the worst. They are going to struggle this upcoming week with NCAA BBall in town.
