The property was convenient to where we wanted to go. It was hot for the coast and I had to set up the fan to move the warm air around. First place I've been in for a long time that had no A/C.

Hi Tyler,Thank you for staying with us. We're glad you came during this awesome weather we've been having. We're unsure where else on the Oregon Coast you've stayed, but you're right, like most lodgings (and offices, homes, shops, restaurants, etc.) along the Oregon Coast, we lack AC. But for us, it's not for lack of trying. Our retrofit plans have been denied by city building officials. However, unlike other places, we do provide those portable fans which, when used along with the ceiling and bathroom fans, work quickly to bring in the cooling breezes off the nearby ocean and river. Please give us another try during other times of year. There is always something fun happening in or around Florence all year long.

The room was not as nice as pictured in the advertising, it was more shabby chic. The views were gorgeous. I gave okay marks on the cleaning, because the room on surface level was clean. After settling in we noticed soda cans and plastic trash under the benches.

It is our daily mission to exceed guest expectations with a spotless, reasonably-priced, well-appointed room and exceptional service. We're going to present your comments to each of our housekeepers and will find out who was on duty prior to your stay. Thousands of other guests' comments will attest to your experience being a huge exception. Thank you very much for your comments on our river views from the private balconies of our riverside rooms. Our "shabby chic/retro-beachy" decor--the detail of which does not show up in the wide shots of our rooms--will soon be replaced during a property-wide refresh during the new year. We do hope you will give us another try so you can experience what other guests normally do.
