We loved our pirate room with lake views as well how close the pool was. The resort is a bit outdated and could use a bit of a facelift but overall we enjoyed our stay. The staff was very friendly!

Staff was lackluster (to be kind, at best). Rooms were awful. Could not wait to leave after one night and move to Port Orleans French Quarter, which was excellent and highly recommended. Red Roof Inn vs Hyatt.

The property is beautifully themed. But the buses to the parks are a bit of a walk. Plus we had to cross the parking lot to get to it. There should be more steps to get to second floor rooms. I felt like we did a lot of extra walking till we found a way up or back down. The place is hard to navigate if you've never been there before. I saw paths through the grass that people took cause the sidewalk layout is very confusing and I also cut through planted areas a few times cause no sidewalk is direct. I enjoyed my night there, but I'll most likely not stay there again.

We arrived at the hotel at 8:30AM and the room wasn't ready yet so we placed our bags with the bell desk. The hotel said that they would text us during the day when our room was ready and we never received a text. Also, when we finally arrived at our room at 9:30PM the bathroom was filthy and it appeared that it wasn't cleaned. We immediately called the front desk and asked for another room and one that is closer to the restaurant. They said the only one they had was in the same building as the one we were in. We originally requested a room closer to the restaurant but the front desk said that for the kind of rooms that we booked they only had availability in the section they put us... very disappointing... The room they placed us in was nice..

Nice hotel. Loved staying there. Only thing is the morning we were to leave hotel staff tried to open door at 9:30 am. They wanted to clean room. If latch had not been on door they would have walked in on us in bed. We had a late check out that day
