Cozy 3 bedroom + 2 bath beach cottage with a 6 person Jacuzzi spa located in the beautiful Mandalay Shores, just a short walking distance from the beach. The bedrooms consist of a king size bed, queen bed, and two twin beds. This vacation home includes a flat screen TV in the living room with a fireplace and a lot of windows to enjoy the smell of the fresh ocean air and plenty of natural lighting. Flat screen TV also provided in the other bedrooms. Outdoor shower to rinse off after a day at the beach or bundle up near the fireplace on a cool day. High ceilings makes this place feel spacious, large dining room table, and plenty of cooking space with upgraded appliances and granite countertops in the kitchen. Attached to the kitchen is a spacious two-car garage with a laundry area. Home also includes large spa, patio seating, and both front and back entrance to get to the beach.

Nice Place.
House is clean and comfortable. Matches listing description. Oxnard is seldom very hot, so the place stayed nice and cool even without A/C in the middle of July. My only suggestion for improvement is that the kitchen supplies (utensils, spatulas, etc) need to be checked closer by the cleaning crew. They weren't very clean for us. But still 5 stars for the property and stay.

The inside of the property was nice and clean, but several of the lamps were broken, the fireplace didn’t work, and the lever for the sink drain in the master bathroom was broken. Outside, the jacuzzi cover was broken and there was chunks of styrofoam in the jacuzzi from the broken cover. It was also just pretty dirty. On the photos, it shows there being a fire pit feature on a table in the patio, which was not there at all. It was just a standard table. Also, at night we saw probably about a dozen black widow spiders along the outside of the house and under the patio chairs. We reached out to management about it who said they’d try to get pest control out there, but it never happened during our stay. Would be a great property with better maintenance, but was definitely not happy with the various issues. There was only half a roll of toilet paper in each bathroom when we got there also. Luckily, management did drop a basket off of extra supplies after we told them about that. Hopefully these issues are fixed in the future.

Never Inspected - Misrepresentation!
My family and I arrived to find Remax property management had not inspected the vacation rental property. We found that the Jacuzzi had not been drained and cleaned as promised, cover had black widow when lifted disintegrating cover, filter & broken jet parts on bottom, foul water, dead bugs, scum on seats, headrests missing & disintegrating, several jets not working, heater broken, sand. Patio furniture dirty, Fireplace did not work for two days of five day stay, kitchen inadequate, old pots do not have lids, cheap dishware, cracked plastic cups, five forks, refrigerator never got cold, queen bed hard as a rock heat register blasted, king bedroom cold. BBQ grill full of bottom grease flames ruined our expensive steaks. I am furious we had to constantly call for repairs and the owner & REmax are negligent of their responsibilities and obligations. We want a Refund!!

Thanksgiving family time
The home itself was fine. Clean and well decorated. However, the outside areas left a lot to be desired. The dining table was dirty and peeling. The fire pit was rusty and also peeling. The large spa was not in very good quality, and the cover was cracked and peeling. There were also a few things in the home that were hastily put together /near breaking when we arrived is bathroom mirror, back of a closet, interior garage door, coffee table). It was also incredibly difficult to open any of the patio screen doors. Overall it was a fine stay, but we more than likely won’t rent this particular property again.

Ideal location, lovely house
This was just perfect for the six of us (myself, husband, son, d-i-l and 2 grandsons 4 & 20 months). The big kitchen is well-stocked, but could have had more forks. Maybe the previous renter accidentally took and it wasn't noticed. The home has a nice layout and and everything seemed new and well cared for. The towels were luxe and plentiful, which was appreciated. It's just a short walk to the beach, which was totally uncrowded. So relaxing and was the perfect place to decompress. Close to grocery shopping and restaurants if you wish. We had some really good sushi at Anaba. The only negative, which had nothing to do with the house, were the next door neighbor's (there were at least three) dogs. As soon as we arrived around 4:30pm, they began barking on and off and didn't stop til midnight. The owners showed up at some point and would yell at them to be quiet, not pleasant. They continued barking throughout the our stay, though not to the same degree. Since I didn't consider it an emergency, I didn't call it in, but it sure was annoying and definitely not relaxing.. We had to close the windows on that side of the house. I did leave a voice-mail message with the property management company after our stay to address this issue, but they never returned my call.

Great location. Very clean and well maintained. Lots of room for family games and relaxing. Short walk to beach too. Beach chairs and toys Provided. Was a nice touch. Spa was great for evening.
