This Hotel is awesome....Travelocity SUCKS

Pros: It had soooo much to do
Cons: Booking with Travelocity
We enjoyed every minute of our stay. The staff were helpful, the food was great and the pools were very refreshing

My reservations were initially made through Travelocity for $849 for 5 nights. After a 2-hour phone call in an attempt to confirm them, I got nothing but the runaround from Travelocity. Upon arrival to the hotel, a manager was very helpful, but would not honor that price. I had to pay $1,054, instead, but the hotel was lovely and there were many services provided. We did enjoy our room w/ a kitchen and living room and patio. The rides provided to work out were nice, too. The Yoga girl should let people in the class, even if a bit tardy. I found her unfriendliness discouraging when I wanted to do yoga on my vacation, but couldn't get a ride quickly enough. The work out facility was clean and had plenty of equipment. The Enclaves pool and bar were very nice, especially the 2nd pool away from the crowded pool w/ children.

Upgrade to Deluxe Room

Pros: The Deluxe Room has a separate bedroom and living area with a kitchenette. Very Quiet.
Cons: Probably the explanation of the type of rooms. The hotel did not serve a hot breakfast. That was disappointing.
Location: Central location. Easy to get to activities and restaurants.
When we arrived and saw our room had no view and no balcony, we were very disappointed. We decided to upgrade to a Deluxe room. It took a few phone calls, but finally all was set. We moved and we were very happy. Beautiful patio, with view of the golf course and mountains.

Not a recommended stay!

Cons: Better management skills!
This hotel has terrible management and service! The manager, Gabriella, is the most unhelpful person ever! The rooms are so small and you will most likely feel claustrophobic! You cannot count on your room being clean on time, ours was clean at 8 pm! You can only order 4 shampoos and towels a time!!!! When traveling with kids you know that's not enough! There is only one ice machine per building, and it's only on the first floor! Overall design of hotel is terrible, have to drive from building to building! Not convenient at all! And once again if you have a problem and Gabriella is on duty....good luck! It's like talking to the wall!

Shadow Ridge 1 had just about everything you want.

I took my family here and we all agreed it was one of the best getaways every.We'll be back for sure. Theres something for everybody here. Thank you Marriott and employees for an AWESOME time.

Just okay

You get what you pay for.  I rented 2 bedroom villa, just enough room for couple with 2 boys. However not very clean upon arrival.  Light switches dirty and the patio area covered in cigarette buds and one empty can + straw. Still boys had fun at pool. We made use of gym. Was okay but not best getaway when leaving clean home to stay at not clean hotel.  I go to Palm Springs often will look for another place next time.
