Best staff!

Pros: The pool area was nice and clean.
We only stayed once night. The rooms were clean the staff very friendly and the pool was nice.

My stay at Holiday Inn Panama City

Pros: Excellent and very friendly staff, nice little gym.
Cons: Chlorine smell from the pool which is located in the main lobby is a little noticeable but not a deal breaker.
Location: Very close to Tyndall AFB - great for families or anyone having to visit the base.
I was pleasantly surprised with this hotel. I was visiting my son who is stationed at Tyndall AFB. Wanted to be close to the base. I stayed 5 days and had a very good experience.

Nice people

Location: There were a few restaurants nearby.
Staff was very nice however the hotel facilities haven't been updated since the early 1970's. The bathtub was a bright apple red (tub and surround).

Love the Red Bathtubs

Pros: Free Internet, Quiet
Cons: Poor breakfast, pool area reaked of chlorine
Friendly staff, pretty landscaping, crazy amounts of ceiling fans/lights in the dining room. Other than that, rooms were just average, cleanliness wasn't the worst, but it wasn't the best either. Decor could use some upgrading. But for the area it was in, pricing was better than most!

friendly staff

Pros: Close restaurants, Free Internet, Quiet, heated pool and hot tub
Cons: no free breakfast
this trip was alot better than the last one it is a little further from the beach than we thought but overall a huge improvement from the last room we booked

Glad I didn't pay rack rate.

Pros: Free Internet, Quiet
You enter through a very nice lobby. Unfortunately that is where it ends. Upon entering the room, we both wanted to take showers. The shower-head leaked more water around the fitting than what came out the head. Upon closing the shower curtain, I was greeted by the entire upper half of the curtain being covered with mildew/black mold. I picked up the phone to call the front desk and the phone line was dead, so I tried the one on the desk. I was dead as well. I had to call the front desk on my cell phone. When I explained the situation I was told they could get someone up there to fix it. I asked that it be taken care of later as I wanted to go to bed. I hung the breakfast order card on the door and went to bed. After a day in town I returned to the room, went to take a shower only to find that not only did they take the soap from the previous day, but failed to leave a new one. The other problems still existed (I did not report it at the time). I went to complete the breakfast order door hanger again and there was none, so I called the desk (amazed that the phone worked) got that taken care of. Upon receiving my breakfast in the morning, the menu states that toast is provided automatically (I had to call and request my toast) I will say that the staff was as accommodating as possible but it certainly appears there is little attention to detail by management. Taken individually they were minor inconveniences, but when taken in total, it was a far less enjoyable experience than I had hoped for.

It was a great hotel. Very clean and the staff is nice and helpful...holiday inn select will be my hotel every time i go to Panama!
