Great hotel and location

Pros: Staff was excellent and location was great!
Location: Location is great. You can walk to many sightseeing sites, such as the Louve. The Metro is very close. It has numerous restaurants and shops close by
This is a great hotel to stay in Paris. The location is close to Metro or walking distance to several sightseeing places. It is quiet and clean. The staff is excellent! Myriam, Cyrielle, Damien, and Lamine assist you with everything you may need from help in finding sites, wakeup calls, places to eat, Metro, coffee, the language, calling for taxis, etc. They are pleasant and very accommodating. The housekeeping and breakfast staff are very good. Because of the excellent staff this hotel is a 5! Our room was clean and newly remodeled. The breakfast is an additional cost but was very good. This would be ranked at least a four star if it had a larger lobby or bell captain.

Outstanding Staff

We can't say enough about this very sweet, clean, and lovely Paris hotel! My husband and I loved everything about it.  The location, nearby cafes, and terrific staff, Tatiana and Virginia at reception desk, who gave us directions, called taxis  and offered much travel advice.  The breakfast was superb , French pastries, fruits, cheese and creme egg custard.  Dining staff as well as maids were very friendly and kind.   Folkestone was superior and hope someday we can return and stay  here!! Thank you!!

Perfect!

Loved everything about this hotel. The rooms are small, but the beds are comfortable and the rooms with balconies are lovely. The breakfast is superb. The staff are all very friendly and helpful. Easy access to many major sites.

This Hotel was really wonderful but a little cozy.

Pros: Free breakfast, Close restaurants, Free Internet, Quiet, the hotel staff friendly helpful excellent
This hotel is very nice and very clean but the rooms are not really large. The hotel staff were the very best - friendly and helpful. I liked the free breakfast - esp the coffee, breads and such. The hotel is located within walking distance to the tower, arch and grand opera. Very nice bakery across the street, nice restaurants like the Weekender within one city block.

I felt very safe and comfortable at this hotel.

Pros: Free breakfast, Close restaurants, Free Internet, Quiet
This hotel is very clean. It looks like it's new. The rooms are a great size. Lots of storage space. Great bathroom with nice shower. The bed is very comfortable. The location is wonderful. I would definitely stay here again!

Would love to go back and stay longer...

Pros: Close restaurants, Free Internet, Quiet, black out curtains, breakfast available on site, excellent location for sight seeing, near public transportation
If you are looking for huge rooms (although in this lovely city it is rare to find the larger rooms expected by some Americans) look elsewhere. Otherwise, this small hotel is absolutely perfect. At least it was perfect for my elderly mother, my husband and me. We would love to stay there again. The hotel is clean, and the rooms well-appointed with all the basics and some luxuries, such as a flat screen TV, and black out curtains for jet-lagged sleeping, which made our stay everything we could have asked for. The single room for my mother was very comfortable for one person, and the double room for my husband and me had a quite a bit more floor space, as well as room for a sofa and chair with small table. We did not feel cramped at all. The location is near enough to Gare St. Lazare that we were easily able to walk to the train station with our luggage and with one of us in a wheelchair. There are a numerous shops, restaurants, and great people watching within steps of the hotel, as well as nearby taxis, metros, bus and hop-on-hop-off stops and numerous historic sites. Breakfast in the hotel is far more than adequate, including croissants, fruit, cereal, cheese, meats, yogurt, among other choices. The staff (we mostly saw and dealt with Virginie) is wonderful: knowledgeable, helpful, courteous, and very patient! Next time, we would stay there longer, since it's a great base from which to cruise Paris. Room Tip: If you have special requests of any kind, including airport shuttle, or two or more rooms next to each other, call ahead. (Stayed July 2011, traveled with family)

Convenient and good value for money

Pros: Free breakfast, Close restaurants, Free Internet
I have stayed at many different hotels in Paris and this hotel is a good value for your money. It isn't a 4 or star hotel, but you also pay less than half the price. The hotel is very conveniently located in the city centre- close to main shopping area, metro, airport shuttle, cafes, etc. The hotel is within walking distance to most sights in Paris. It is located in a very safe area (there are some sketchy areas in Paris- so this is important). The hotel is clean, comfortable, staff is friendly, perfect for travelers who want a nice hotel but don't want to break the bank. The bonus of this hotel is that they provide you with free breakfast- and it isn't just bread and jam...they provide a full spread of breads, croissants, fruits, meat and cheeses, cereals, fresh juices, coffee and teas, yogurts, etc. Highly recommended.

This hotel is well located, quiet and efficient

Pros: Free breakfast, Close restaurants, Free Internet, Quiet
The hotel is located in a quiet side street. A metro stop is less than 100meters away, The rooms are small as is usual in this type of hotel located in central Paris. It is clean and everything works well (TV, bathroom, air con etc). The staff are helpful. Breakfast was included in our room rate and was of excellent quality. Would stay there again.
