We reserved a Superior Room. We got a smaller room than a standard small room in a NYC 'ordinary' hotel. But it was clean and we were grateful to be able to take a shower upon arrival! Thanks for that. Good water pressure, good wifi. We received one small 2"round soap. Shampoo in a dispenser was attached to a wall. Two bath towels were changed daily. We had to remind to get us washcloths. No hand towel at all. Hotel staff generally pleasant. One incident occurred: the night before our departure the door to our room wouldn't open. First my husband went to the front desk for help but the evening staff member dismissed him by saying "It is impossible!" My husband returned and we tried again. It took both of us to talk to that "impervious" man to pay attention and help us. When he finally came up he was forced to use the hotel key because, he said, the maid locked the door?! As an apology he offered a half bottle of wine... It was better than no apology but we know a more pleasant way to get a demi bouteille of wine... Overall we made our stay pleasant full of joy Partis always has to offer. The location is good. But I would never stay in that hotel again.

Classic Parisienne hotel. Charming decor. The location is perfect, literally in the heart of Paris, kilometer zero. The Seine is at the end of the street. The street Rue Dauphine, the hotel is on has everything a tourist needs - cafes, pharmacie, patisserie, pizza, crepes, kebab, Mexican, Thai and amorino ice cream! Great Paris experience!

It was ok

The location of this hotel was awesome. The hotel itself is just all right. I would definitely recommend the area but I would probably stay somewhere else next time. It was advertised as two twin bed but when we got there it was one king so they said to make it into a twin but literally the beds were touching each other. To us that was not how we thought it be. The staff was nice but we had a few snafus checking in...

Location: Walk to Notre Dame and the Louvre in a few minutes. It seems like there are dozens of cafes within 2 blocks.
We love this little hotel (with small rooms) on the left bankl! Metro and busses are close. The staff is great and very helpful and speak excellent English. Plan to stay there on our next visit.

Nice place on the left bank.

Pros: The staff was great!
We walked to Notre Dame and the Louvre. Staff was great and spoke English. Room was tiny by US standards, but we expected that. Room had a small fridge, and we went to a local marked and did our breakfasts in the room.

Superb location

Pros: The hotel staff are friendly, helpful and accessible 24/7. The bathrooms are modern and clean. The rooms are small, but tastefully decorated.
Cons: Nothing.
Location: The location could not be any better for visitors. Nearby are three Metro stops, an RER train station, and the Batobus river taxi.
The Hotel Dauphine St. Germain is small but mighty. Located an easy walk from the famous Pont Neuf and the Seine, and close to the St. Michel RER station and Metro stop, this hotel is an ideal base camp for cultural exploration, food experiences, and upscale shopping and gallery hopping. The hotel is moderately priced, offers in house breakfast and small bar, and is staffed with an exceptionally friendly and helpful front desk staff who are available 24/7 and are multi-lingual. Baths are modern and the hotel is air conditioned. The neighborhood is a maze of delightful streets such as the famous Rue de Buci with its cafes, bakeries and gelato parlors, and major avenues like the Boulevard S. Germain..
