Small hotel hidden just off Boulevard Montparnasse and within steps of Metro Vavin. Nice staff, very clean rooms. Safe in the room. Instant coffee/ tea in rooms. Mini-bar holds a variety so not much room to refrigerate your own purchases. Close to many cafes, pharmacy, laundromat, and shopping. Breakfast is a bit expensive, so if you don't want a huge buffet, skip it and visit one of the nearby cafes or pick up you own croissant or pain au chocolat at a nearby bakery. Shower is a bit tricky since it has a slippery surface and one must step over the high sided tub to get out. (needs a non-slip surface or pad). A bit noisy in the morning as the shops outside get ramped up for the day, but of course our windows were open as the weather was cool.

Great hotel and plenty of room!

Pros: Peaceful and quiet in a very busy city.
Location: Great location to walk or catch the Metro to all the Paris sights. Easy to take the train from the airport and walk two blocks.
Best Western was exactly what we were expecting. The bed was a queen bed, not two twins pushed together. There was room to walk around when so many rooms in Europe are very small. The hotel has been updated and was very comfortable.
