Dear Host, Thank you for staying at CERVANTES Hotel. I have taken your comment into account. Nevertheless, you should know that the entire CERVANTES team is dedicated to carrying out a single task: Your Satisfaction! I am surprised to read that you did not ask us during your stay (which would have allowed us to react and would have allowed you to have an excellent stay) or even at the end of your stay. We are present 24 hours a day to satisfy you. During your next stay at CERVANTES, if anything does not meet your expectations, let us know and we will be happy to satisfy you, See you very soon,

Decent hotel

Pros: The balcony and location.
Cons: Training the staff to be more friendly and welcoming to everyone.
Location: 3 min. walk to the Rome metro station. 5-6 min. walk to the Gare St. Lazare station. Moulin rouge and the nightlife scene are about a 10-15 min. walk
The hotel was just okay. The first day or two the AC was perfect and cool enough to feel as soon as you walk into the room. After that it was just barely enough and we ended up opening the doors to the balcony to get some cool air. We never touched the thermostat, then I was told to turn it above a red dot on the unit. It worked just ok after that. The room wasn't very big for 3 people. The queen sized bed + cot took up most of the space. We didn't mind too much since we weren't in the room very much. The "sofa bed" wasn't actually a sofa, just a mattress maybe 3-4 inches thick on a metal frame. It wasn't too bad to sleep on but definitely would prefer the real bed. Our shower didn't feel the cleanest. There was some mildew between tiles which shouldn't occur if they actually gave the showers a deep cleaning once in a while. The receptionists varied and while they were all helpful, they weren't all the nicest. I expect receptionists to have some sort of welcoming nature (at least smile!). I never felt welcomed to ask questions (I did anyway with hesitation). They seemed much friendlier if you spoke French. Overall, the best part about the room was the balcony. If we didn't have the balcony I probably wouldn't recommend this hotel since there didn't seem to be a way to guarantee a room with a balcony. The location was pretty good, a short walk to multiple metro stops, the Printemps mall, and moulin rouge/nightlife area.

Hidden Treasure

Pros: Close restaurants, Free Internet, Quiet
I love the Hotel Cervantes. It is a beautiful hotel with an amazing staff located on a quiet street between the Grandes Magasins and Montmartre, about a brisk 15 minute walk from either. It is also a 2 minute walk from 2 Metro stops, Europe and Rome which will take you to any of the major tourist attractions in 15 minutes. I stayed on the top floor and barely heard the noise from the Gare St. Lazare although it would be probably be noisier on the first 2 floors. A fabulous hotel!

Great value hotel that is close to everything

Pros: Free breakfast, Close restaurants, Free Internet
My boyfriend and I went to Paris in February to celebrate my 30th birthday. We did not have a lot of money to spend on fancy hotels, but still wanted to be close to everything (zone 1), safe, and comfortable. Hotel Cervantes did just that. Staff was very friendly and all of them spoke very good English. We arrived at 8am on the day of our check-in (which is 3pm) and, although our room was not ready, were able to leave our bags behind in the luggage closet and explore the city. Breakfast was tasty, but did not change from day to day: eggs and sausage, baked goods, cereals, and yogurt. My boyfriend stuffed himself every morning and then we didn't really need to eat until dinner. I am giving 4s for room quality and bed because the room was just tiny. My expectations were that the room would be small, but it was even smaller than expected. This is so mostly because there was nowhere to put our clothes. There were 3 small cubbie holes and one larger one where you could hang your jackets. This was not enough to unload our bags, so they took up pretty much all the walking space in our room. Main areas are also smaller than they appear on pictures. Generally, the whole place felt cramped. But who goes to Paris to stay in the room?!?!?! That is why I took only one star off. The location was great. Right next to 2 metro stations and walking distance from Moulin Rouge. There is also a bus stop a block from the building.

Great hotel

Hotel Cervantes was excellent--the service, cleanliness, convenient location to metro and train stations. The premium room was worth the extra money because of being a bit bigger, having a full sized bath, a king sized bed and room to move around. Ask for a street front room--you can open big windows and not hear much of the train rumbles. Despite the brochure, there is no bar--they do not have a liquor license yet.

hotel review-Hotel Cervantes

The hotel was wonderful! Near Monmartre, it is clean, quiet, comfortable and convenient. Between two Metro stops (Liege and Rome), it was easily accessible. Large hot and cold very good breakfast. The staff is incredibly kind, helpful, and knowledgeable. Our room was quite small but very clean. The Room hada safe as well as coffee and tea. Fridge too but no microwave.. Laundromat is a few blocks away if you want to wash clothes (we did). Some good restaurants in the area. Great place

Great Hotel

My 2 daughters and 2 granddaughters and I stayed at the Hotel Cervantes for five nights. It was a great hotel. Staff very friendly, efficient and knowledgable. Spoke great English and did not laugh at our attempts at speaking French. The rooms were clean and comfortable, but small. For the few hours we slept it was great. The breakfast was wonderful and saved us lots of money and time. Traveling with two teenagers this hotel provided all we needed. close to metro stations, in a safe neighborhood, (we always were very late coming back). Can't say enough good things about this hotel and our experience. I would recommend this hotel to travelers on a modest budget.

Great Experience

The hotel met every need. Breakfast in my room, help with the internet, directions around town. I felt like it was a home away from home.
