Terrible hotel at Charles de Galle airport!
The staff were not happy to see us! They were talking among themselves and we were a bother. We asked for assistance getting to Paris and they said it would be very expensive to travel while the strike was on. We asked for a converter for the electricity and we were told to buy one in a vending* machine. Same thing for shampoo and conditioner. As we couldn’t get to Paris we had to eat at the hotel restaurant. We had to wait over an hour for it to open at 7 pm. Then we were seated but service was very slow. It was busy as many of us couldn’t go into the city. The food was good but the waiter tried to charge us double for the food! Of course I called him on it as all I had was soup and my boyfriend had a full meal. We waited over 10 minutes for them to figure it out! They did apologize but I wondered if they had done this before to unsuspecting customers. The man sitting next to us was very upset as they ignored him completely! The decorations of Star Wars throughout the hotel were so weird that we mentioned it to the staff, they were annoyed with our comment. It was also confusing as there were two Ibis hotels right next to each other and tired travelers were complaining when they were told they were in the wrong hotel! The breakfast was good and included a machine that squeezed the orange juice from oranges in front of you. We would never stay here again!

Closeness to airport was a life saver during strike. Awesome breakfast- healthy and fresh on- just what you want before a long flight

We arrived unexpectedly due to s delay in our visas. The staff everyone of them were extremely helpful and kind. They helped us solve our issue. The room was very clean and quiet. Love this hotel
