The staff, property, rooms, and food was exceptional. It was near the off season so the resort itself was quite. It was truly a magical place. One negative feedback was the guys that work at the boat house were a bit rude and didn’t seem to want to be bothered.

Quiet Luxury, a hidden jem in Turks and Caicos

I have been to many islands, this was by far the most beautiful. If you are looking for one of the most beautiful beaches on a private island, than this is the place. The resort staff are excellent and accommodating. They go out of their way to please you and make sure you have whatever you need. Top notch service. The food was excellent. This is the place to relax and enjoy this beautiful private island. If you want a commercialized vacation, I suggest you go elsewhere. Como Parrot Cay is unique and a different experience. We stayed in the beach front villa and it was fantastic. Food is a bit pricey but understandable in a place like Parrot Cay. The talk about not much to do, is nonsense. We walked the entire beach both ways with beautiful scenery, took bike rides passing celebrity homes, played tennis, and did water activities. It was more than enough for five days. You can't go wrong with Como Parrot Cay.

Nice staff but was very pricey and rooms are dated

Cons: Upgrades
Location: Definitely take a short ride over to North Caicos and rent a car. Some great scenery over there
Nice place but for the money, you might expect things to be more modern/plush. Food is very expensive. Villas are nice but again, some are dated.

Silence is Luxury

Parrot Cay is a world-class beachfront resort with excellent service and numerous outdoor activities.  The breakfast is phenomenal.  The food is very good, but pricey, so I recommend bringing some of your own snacks, soft drinks, and duty-free wine to the island.  We left Parrot Cay feeling refreshed and relaxed.  I highly recommend this resort in the Turks and Caicos Islands.

Mosquito Cay = Parrot Cay

Parrot Cay has planted a lot of new foliage in the past five years, and in spite of regular spraying cannot seem to overcome the mosquito population. My wife and I are savvy travelers; we have taken many trips to the Carribean in years past. Never have we encountered such a problem at an otherwise high end resort. We received 30 mosquito bites, both while outside and inside our villa, in the course of our first afternoon on the resort. We came from three nights on another island in the Turks and Caicos chain and did not see a single mosquito on this other island. After the rain, and at night, mosquitos can be a problem on most islands, but what was so odd about this was that it was not raining - and all the bites occured before sundown. Parents with youg kids beware. No matter how nice the staff are about the fact you have bites, you'll be itching - and they'll be taking your money...Money you could have spent somewhere comparable, but without a mosquito problem. They leave a huge can of ""off"" and a huge can of bug spray in the room; it was not this way five years ago, according to my wife. Here is the full text of the Mosquito Control policy as listed in the in-room guide: ""A program of environmentally safe fogging is conducted daily, both early in the morning and late in the afternoon. An extract of Chrysanthemum flower is used as a natural means of control. If requested, Housekeeping will provide mosquito coils and repellany in the room."" It sounds very nice, but the program is ineffective - and we have the bites to show it. Parrot Cay might more approriately be named Mosquito Cay. It broke our hearts.
