Nice hotel for business stay

Overall was very nice experience. Rooms were spacious and beds comfortable. However I was unable to control the room thermostat so was a drop chilly. Asked for a fridge and there was not enough. Was told that they are upgrading and adding fridges to each room eventually.

Disappointed

Pros: The room was nice, seemed pretty clean.
Cons: You should be able to control the heat in the rooms.
Location: It's very convenient to the hospital
We had to stay at this hotel because it was the closest to the hospital. We arrived at the hotel at about 3 in the morning after leaving the hospital, so we were very tired. When we got there the man at the desk was very nice, but said the computers were very slow at the time. I know this does happen you can't control that. Then he assigned us a room and he did give us an upgrade. I think he saw how tired we were. This was very nice of him. When we got to the room, we walked in and the room wasn't even cleaned. So now back to the lobby we go from the 19th floor, now it is about 3:30. We told the man at the desk what happened, and he said he was sorry. Gave us another room on the 19th floor, and up we went. He did give us a late check out. Again that was nice of him. We got to the room and he called as soon as we walked in. We told him it was ok. We got ready for bed only to realize we couldn't turn the heat down. It was like we were in a tropical island. We put up with it because we were just too tired! The man at the desk was nice, but to have to go up and down at this hour of the morning was not very pleasant.

Memorial Day Weekend

Overall the hotel was very nice and I would stay there again. Good location to the city and the staff was overall professional. The room was nice...nothing special. My one beef (which is out of the control of the staff) is that on Saturday evening and Sunday morning (with the hotel at full capacity) the hotel elevators were not working. At one point I wanted 20 minutes to catch a elevator from the 15th floor down. On top of that the elevators to the garage were not working. So at one point there might have been 1 or 2 elevators working in the entire place. I have also reached out directly to Sheraton in hopes to pass along this information as well.

Nice location near college campuses

After reading some of the reviews,I had some concerns about the hotel. But upon arrival and seeing our accommodations I was quite pleased. My only complaint was the $25/ day parking fees.

Staying at the Sheraton in University City, PA

Recently I and my daughter visited Philly to see Jake Bugg at the World Café. We stayed at the Sheraton, because it was within walking distance to the concert sight. The hotel was clean, quiet and near restaurants, ATM's, shops, convenient stores and Starbucks (two of them). Right across the street was a pizza/salad place that was open 7/24 and it was GOOD! The staff at the hotel was very friendly and extremely helpful as we needed to use mass transit to get to the historic area, South Street and the Philadelphia Art Museum. I would recommend this hotel.

Great location to visit Penn, close to subway

I took the liberty shuttle from airport to hotel, very easy door to door shuttle. I stayed at hotel during my visit at Penn. The location is perfect short walk from anywhere on the campus or to subway/trolley station to get around Philly very easily. The hotel is nice and clean, beds are comfortable. The wifi connection both in room and business center is good. There is a nice bar and restaurant in hotel. And a great 24 hour pizza restaurant that delivers across the street. I will stay here again.
