On arrival we checked into the room and the room looked very clean and up-to-date. However, it was 106° outside and the air conditioning has not been turned on. We tried to have a positive attitude and turned it on but it could not catch up and we had a miserably hot night and had to leave the next day. also, there was no trashcan anywhere to be found, no towels, and when we turned the TV on, it was broken like someone had punched it. For a few dollars more a night we went to the Aiden by Best Western, and had an entirely different step up.

Shortly after I checked in, I had to start getting ready for a formal event. I just got out of the shower, not dressed, not even a towel. A man apparently had a key and just opened my door. Luckily i had the latch on. Called front desk, they said they'd look into it. Heard nothing back. After the event i went to front desk to learn more. Although nice, no nothing. No "im so sorry" The front desk did show me how they make new keys and he gave me a new one. Very upsetting. He said it was more than likely housekeeping. Clearly I've could tell someone was in the room. You could hear the hair dryer and TV on. If they knocked first and i didn't hear, doesn't give them the right to just come in. I JUST checked in!! Extremely upsetting and i didn't even get "We're so sorry"

For an old motel it was quite nice. The bed was very comfortable, pillows were fluffy and easy on the neck! Didn’t use the pool, though it was very pretty and nicely furnished with quality seating areas under pergola. The fan on the ac ran all night which is splendid because my husband snores…! Good white noise!
