If we could, we would give 10+ for Nam with “glasses” (front desk reception) and the hotel owners for going beyond of taking great care of us during our stay!!! I was sick for two days. On the third day, I called the front desk reception, Nam answered and advised us to go to the SOS clinic (prompt and thorough service) instead of the hospital (long wait) or the other clinic nearby. To our surprised when we came down for breakfast, Nam advised us that he had booked a complimentary taxi to take us to the SOS clinic. While we were having breakfast, a well mannered lady (later found out from Nam that she is the owner) noticed that I wasn’t eating all of my food on my plate and wanted to know if there was anything she can do. I told her that I wasn’t well with my throat hurting when swallowing. She said that I must have strep throat (which was confirmed later by the doctor) and asked if I have rinsed my mouth with salt water. I responded “no” and later send some up to our room. The total cost including doctor checkup, X-ray, blood test and medication was 1.5 M dong (equivalent to $82 CAD). The whole process only took 1.5 hrs which is the fastest result that I have ever experienced! Within two hrs of taking the medication my throat no longer hurts. Upon learning of our early departure at 5 AM, Nam offered a complimentary taxi to the airport and packed up sandwiches and drinks for us. We have recommended this hotel to my family and friends! We definitely will come back!!!
