J & J's River Retreat. Welcome to Your Home Away from Home in Pigeon Forge! The location of this spacious cottage just can't be beat!!! Located within 5 MINUTES of the main Parkway in Pigeon Forge (less than 1 mile!)! The Little Pigeon River is also within walking distance of this cottage and is right around the corner.

The main level of J & J's River Retreat has 2 large bedrooms, including the Master, on this level. With the bedrooms on opposite ends of the house, privacy won't be an issue for your guests here! Each main level bedroom comes with a Queen size bed and Full En-suite Private Bathrooms. The Lower Level has another Full bathroom with a walk-in shower and Jack & Jill sinks for 2. This lower level full bathroom is a shared space for folks who are using the game room, or one of the two bedrooms on this level. There are 2 spacious bedrooms on the lower level, with sleeping space for up to 6. The White Bedroom has 2 Full size beds and the Brown Bedroom has 1 Queen bed. The game room is also located on this level, as well as a laundry area with a stackable washer & dryer for your use.

Smelly and Worn Out
The property pictures are very outdated. We saw that as we entered the living room. The sofa and recliner have faux leather that is worn so badly that you can see the stuffing. The smell was also overwhelming. We had to open the front and back doors to air out the house. The upstairs beds were awfully uncomfortable, though the teens/young adults said the downstairs beds were fine. The shower in the back bedroom took so long to warm up that I ended up taking a cold shower. The kitchen was sufficient, though minimally. The locations was good - Pigeon Forge amenities were easily accessible. The neighborhood was quiet. The best thing about the place was the bomb Keith coffee pot. It was super nice.

Cabin Had issues needs repairs
Our stay would have been nicer if the Cabin had not had these issues! The kitchen faucet leaked and sprayed water when it was turned on , Upstairs washer was broken and door wouldn’t lock, Sofá and chair is totally discussing and in need of replacement it’s peeling vinyl in ruff shape , Master Shower control broken and would not cut hot water on, ceiling fan in purple bed too would not cut on , Basement had bugs everywhere and on beds my grandson got bug bites from sleeping down there . Over all cabin needed a Good cleaning, This is our favorite area to stay never have had these issues before.

Nothing like the picture
The house is good if you just want to chill but overall the sink was broken and the furniture was all worn out and the washer didn’t work. The bedroom up stairs by the back door has no hot water. It’s an old house. It’s really a waste of time but far as pricing I guess it’ll pass., Not a choice I will take next time.

Off the main strip
House was big enough for 7 adults. We loved to location (off main streets to where it remained quiet). Does need a few minor updates (nothing that would prevent us from returning)

Beds were very uncomfortable, furniture not cozy or inviting,no outside lights and ramp not sturdy, bathrooms had no safety grab bars, pool table shown on website unusable, refrigerator not cold enough to keep meat from spoiling, we not worth the price!!!

The washer on the main floor did not work water ran all over the floor. Sink in kitchen made a lot of noise everything it was turned on and the sprayer sprayed eventide u turned the faucet on. Fridge did not keep food cold even in the freezer. Furniture was peeling. Could not find a broom or mop. There was a layer of dust on furniture especially in the lower bedrooms. No pool ball to play pool. I am sure there was other things just can't remember them right now. We will not stay with this company again.
