It was a good experience, but we had one reservation for a sailing activity and due to weather conditions it got canceled. Nobody informed us, we spend hours organizing for the activity and then waiting like fools for the transportation and nobody took the care to inform us. It was us a guest looking for answers that we find out. Poor organization and all we got was a sorry. We lost one whole afternoon because of this.

I decided to celebrate our first year Anniversary at Xcaret Arte! When I was narrowing down my wedding venue - Xcaret was in my top three so you can imagine how excited we were to experience this on our honeymoon. However, I will be transparent in my review. Landing at the airport was nice to have this VIP area for xcaret to lounge until the bus was ready to go. Now, getting there wasn’t what I expected. Arriving: The resort is big so there was so much happening at once. We didn’t get greeted exactly the same as other resorts we’ve been to but when someone did notice us, we had a delicious paleta (ice pop) and it was nice. We waited in line for someone to check us in and the lady wasn’t as hospitable as other resorts like (Hyatt Ziva) the check in was stale and I was so sad because it was our first wedding anniversary. She didn’t explain where anything really was located and we didn’t get a map or some guidance on where to eat etc. we’ve been to the best Cancun resorts so my expectations were high factoring in the price tag as well. Wrapping this up- I was blown away by the resort and how draw dropping gorgeous it is. At times you will find some friendly workers and we also bumped into some rushed and stale ones as well. This is how I would grade it: Resorts cleanliness: 10/10 Resorts food and drinks:9/10 , Resort grounds architecture: 11/10 but the service was mixed - 8/10 Overall not bad but I’m going back for a wedding this year and I hope to get another experience
