La Quinta Avenida (Fifth Avenue) is a short walk from Casa Miramar where shops, restaurants, cafes, art galleries, water sports, tours, bars, and live entertainment are located. This home has everything you could want. With marble flooring throughout and completely equipped with amenities, Casa Miramar has fabulous view of the ocean can be enjoyed from almost every room and especially from the comfortable patio adjacent to the private pool or the spacious 2nd floor terrace. Both the patio and terrace are perfect spots from which to enjoy the ocean breeze and spend time with your family and friends.

Almost 300 square feet of construction with 2 stories, this spacious 4 bedroom and 4 bathrooms home is fully air-conditioned with ceiling fans in each of the bedrooms. The first floor features 3 bedrooms, comfortable living room with large flat screen TV, dining room and kitchen. The first of two master bedrooms is located on this floor and has a king bed, while the other downstairs bedrooms each have two double beds. The master bedroom located on the second floor also has a king bed and boasts a spectacularly magnificent view of the sparking Caribbean.

Perfect, relaxing getaway
What an amazing property! Spacious, comfortable, and with all the amenities we could have ever asked for. Very responsive property manager, easy check-in and check-out, and only steps away from the beach. Literally everything was perfect.

Amazing location, steps to the beach & close to 5th Ave
Wonderful, spacious home just steps from the beach. We enjoyed the beach view from the pool area and especially from the upper balcony. 5th Avenue is just a short walk (via the streets, not the beach) to many restaurants, shops & night life. The team at Casa Miramar made our stay a delight by stocking the house with groceries in advance, connecting us with Chef Daveed who prepared a few meals and hosted a cooking class for us, & connecting us with Alejandro who arranged excursions for us. It was a fantastic week with our family of 6. The house is as shown in the pictures, with the upgrade of a granite table & 8 chairs by the pool, but unfortunately the shade tarp on the upper balcony was no longer there. The upper balcony is accessible via a door separate from the upstairs bedroom which was a nice surprise. The house was well stocked...TP, paper towel, shampoo with conditioner, soap, coffee filters, laundry detergent, pool towels, coffee maker & blender, etc. Only ziploc bags or more containers were missing. Overall, Casa Miramar is a fantastic place to spend a vacation and we'd highly recommend it.

Great Property Close to the Ocean
We had a great visit at Casa Miramar. The property was exactly as described and the views were stunning. We were surprised at how close we were to the beach. It was less than a minute walk. The house was clean, and the property managers were attentive. It's a very spacious house. We had 8 total and we were able to spread out comfortably. We were pleasantly surprised how large the house was. The only issue we had was with the hot water. The tankless water heater had to be re-set the first day. Fortunately the handy man showed us how to do it, because we had to reset it multiple times each day to avoid cold showers.

Great vacation getaway
This place was exactly what we expected. The host communicated right away with any questions we had. The house was super clean and exactly how the pictures were in the listing. It was right on the beach and if the kids did not want to be in the ocean they could swim in the pool. We have a big family and the house was perfect for all of us to spread out and not feel like we were right on top of each other. The community was very secure and we felt super safe walking around when we needed to go shopping. I highly recommend this for large groups and families!!!

Wonderful PlayaCar residence
We were initially 6 family members but 2 were not able to join us. Everything about this trip was wonderful. The house was exactly as shown and there was plenty of space to stretch out and enjoy our time together. We spent a lot of time in the swimming pool and beach access was literally right across the street. A really great moonrise one night. Something I do not see at home. Kudos to Mercedes and her staff. The setup was wonderful.

Incredible house in Playacar
We recently stayed at this amazing house with family and friends, and had an amazing time. The house is very spacious with an amazing upstairs patio overlooking the ocean. The house had every amenity and was very close to the beach. The pool was a great addition, the kids loved it. The check-in process was very easy. They met us late at night and had quick communication. I would definitely recommend this house to anyone who wants to be close to the beach and be walkable to the main street at Playa del Carmen.

Family Christmas
Perfect for a family. Our family consisted of a couple in our early 70s, our two daughters and their husbands in their mid to late 40s and our three grandchildren aged 8, 9 and 10. Each couple and the children had their own bedroom and bathroom. The casa is big enough for a family to visit together, in small groups or to have privacy. Soundproofing is excellent, so those going to bed early or staying in bed late were not bothered by those who were up. The on site pool was a hit, as was the nearby ocean. The kitchen is very well equipped and everything was spotless. The host, Mercedes O'Farrell, was excellent. She answered our questions promptly and handled issues around credit card limits and flight cancellations over Christmas quickly and efficiently. Top marks. One possible concern is the distance to restaurants and stores for children and people with mobility problems. But taxis are ubiquitous and cheap.
