Oh dear. Where to begin. Most the room was clean but this is supposed to be a "resort"; The upholstered furniture in the room was dirty (so much so we did not feel safe sitting on it. Lobby area rugs: filthy. Pools: grungy The concierge: if you are expecting Sheraton/Marriot resort level service here: nope. They did not help with a single request; no help before arrival when looking to book excursions, not once when asked if they can make dinner reservations in town; no help at all, it's a desk, a person, and brochures they just hand out. If you have the internet, you can do this for yourself. And not sure why exactly, but by 4pm on day four no room cleaning. No fresh towels. We did it ourselves because when I called we were told we could be waiting until 9pm Plenty of dedicated service for golfers including transportation at the ready....but..for the rest of us? We had to fend for ourselves on transportation - no dedicated staff or personnel on site - it is provided 3rd party - and as we found out when SR Transportation (the 3rd party) doesn't answer the phone for a pick up when you call multiple times AND the front desk staff tries as well....you are just stranded....the staff in the hotel could care less if you get stuck in town with no ride, they will tell you to walk back, in the dark, not knowing your way around. Yes, this really happened. We did get a welcome champagne/cheese plate-on day 3.Bar/Restaurant service was great-but better to stay closer to Macrossen St.

Staff was welcoming and attentive. The room was beautiful and well appointed. It rained every day we were there and we didn't have an umbrella, so the concierge gave us one, a nice touch.
