Our week-long stay in Port Saint Lucie Florida
Beautiful home. Lovely pool that we couldn't enjoy for the first two days because the owner told us not to use it until the maintenance person inspected it following a needed cleaning. The owner never let us know we could use the pool. I finally contacted the owner/renter on the third day and verified myself that we could use the pool since the day we arrived. Crappy communication, period. There were only six towels available for six adults to use all week long. Ridiculous. There was very very little cookware available to use. We even had to purchase a cookie sheet that none of us needed, except for this vacation.

Sleeps 10-towels for 5-no wash clothes. No kitchen towels, paper towels, measuring spoons or cups, no bakeware, very limited kitchen ware- dishes for 6 only etc. 1 hairdryer for 3 bathrooms, 5 hangers total, no dressers but were told we could use the top rack of closet to put everything? tv remote missing (told there was an app I could download) glad we brought Roku! Tv room-no table for any items. Pool was dirty. No house book showing recycling, trash pick-up, pool cleaning schedule etc. Freezer leaked and repair was never scheduled- no one in area qualified for that model?? Property Manager in San Francisco- when complained, we were asked if we looked at pictures online as those showed what house had!!! Bottom line- if you want to be comfortable in this rental, bring a lot from home or purchase local- (we were repaid $ 16.00 for our time and trouble of purchasing). I would not recommend this property to friends!

Trip to the beach
Our group of 4 retired couples saw that his house was available and decided to have a beach trip. The house was even better then we expected, clean, roomy and it was equipped with everything we needed. Coffee by the pool in the morning and a welcome cool down, after a day at the beach. To access the bedroom we used , you had to walk through another bedroom. I can see this might be a problem with some but it worked fine for us and the bedrooms were large and comfortable. It's located in a nice quiet neighborhood and was convenient to the restaurants we wanted to go to. Bottom line, we all thought it was a great house and we hope we will be able to stay here again for our next trip to the coast.

overall our vrbo experience,accomodations met our expextactions with a few exceptions: only 3 towels for up 8 people, bought some at walmart. pool was not ready for use, responded and cleaned on 2nd full day. trash barrels were full, apparently put out for pickup too day before we arrived. Handyman did stop by on first full day(we had not called to alert of these issues, he came to look at other issues that were apparently voiced by previous renter or host?) he was looking at the thresholds between floors of each room. bathrooms that had missing/broken towel racks and toilet paper holders. and screen doors that were in need of repair. on a happier note, the beds were clean and comfortable the property,& appliances in good shape. sincerely JIm

Pt St Lucie home
The house does looks as if newly decorated and remodeled. The front screen door did not close correctly and is in dire need of replacement. This is the first impression of the home and not a good one. The master bedroom had no closet, bedside table, or dresser, so so where to place your suitcases on or unpack clothing. The sheets on the beds were paper thin and had plastic mattress covered that were annoying and cheap. The house had a funny order with many plug in infusers to cover it up. which we moved to the back room. The freezer leaked almost everyday, which I reported to the Manager as well as sent photos she requested. The kitchen amenities were also very minimal. Not even enough dishes for all 6 of us. The pool area did not have any chairs except for an older ratty looking rattan sofa with no seat cushions. The back room also was so sparse with only 2 little metal chairs. The house does looks as if newly decorated and remodeled. but was very sparsely supplies with the cheapest a least amount of furniture and supplies. The Port St. Lucie area was the best part of the stay as there are many beaches, and other towns within 15 minutes drive to visit and a overall lovely area. The owner did respond quickly to our questions as a positive note. Would not return to this rental

Misrepresented sleeping, ill equipped, slow responses
Not disclosing that a one of the bedrooms is attached to another with a 3 family scenario was untenable kindly stated. No linens for roll out bed which had potato chip or cereal crumbs all over the mattress. 7 guests, had 3 bath towels and 3 hand towels. Zero wash cloths available. Pool 1” below skimmer with debris, hair clumps around perimeter and on bottom. Only 2 beach towels with pool and beach community. No coffee filters, only 6 dinner plates, 5 bowls and small saucers. 3 -12 ounce glasses. Yard reflects the same. It took 24 hours of bickering back and forth before we were finally given the keys to access the linens. Called VRBO service, was on hold 45 minutes, they answered, I said hello several times and she pretends she didn’t hear me an d hung up. Called back, on hold 45, was flipped to multiple people and an offer of one night hotel was presented after 1-1/2 plus hours of being tossed to multiple people most of which could not solve the issue of misrepresentation. The call lasted over 2 hour and demonstrated that satisfaction was the least of VRBO concerns. This home is not as advertised and was without reservation the most scarcely supplied we’ve ever experienced. Because we were on a mini vacation., I’m not one to want to litter my schedule begging for towels, a useable pool and plates for our size of party. Evidently I missed a request to take out the trash to the curb. Sorry. I lost hours and was sold a bogus bill of goods.

Nice summer retreat
My family of 8 enjoyed this home thoroughly! Plenty of room to stretch out (more room than expected :)), nicely decorated, conveniently located to everything, and clean. Home is equipped to create meals and enjoy the pool. For those that may feel uncertain about using, the "pool man" cleans every Thursday. We had a blast creating summer memories!

It's not five stars
The property, though overall acceptable, is showing some wear and tear. It has scuffed walls and baseboards throughout. The oven loos like it has never bee cleaned. The a/c vent in the hallway ceiling leading to the 3 bedrooms, is quite dirty. Though it says it sleeps 10, there are just a couple of forks, spoons and knives. Overall, our stay was pleasant, but there were these few things that needed to be called out .
