The property was close to the airport but not so close the sound of jets was heard. It is on a busy street but inside it was very quiet. The morning breakfast was great with both hot and cold selections. When we return to Portland we’ll be staying here again.

Nice stay

The owners of this place are very nice and polite. Our room was beautiful,the pool and jacuzzi inviting,and breakfast was greatly appreciated.

Reasonable accommodations with great transit acces

Nicole, the hotel.manager, was wonderful. She provided us directions verbally and in print to a restaurant were going to. The hotel was clean and comfortable, but the rugs could do with updating (wear and tear is showing). The hotel is less than a block to the Max making it super convenient to head into Portland. Free parking, breakfast included and indoor pool with hot tub made this a great option for our family getaway.

Have enjoyed my stays in the past.

Pros: Free breakfast, Free Internet
Stayed here several times over the past few years. Am ready to visit portland again and wouldn't want to stay anywhere else. Breakfast is great and rooms were always clean.

This hotel is FABULOUS!

Pros: Free breakfast, Free Internet, Quiet, one block to the light rail.
My flight was canceled and I arrived a day later than expected for a multi-day conference. Even though the clerk said she had my stay starting the day after I arrived, she was very accomodating, getting me into my room quickly and with no fuss. The neighborhood is very close to public transportation and I never felt in danger, even when coming back late at night on the light rail. The room was spacious, clean and I felt at home right away. There was no scent of cigarettes or anything else. I loved having a fridge and microwave in each room. I also liked being given the choice of having my sheets changed each day. When a colleague, who was staying at the host hotel, came to visit me and found out that my hotel had a pool and a hot tub, I got a hot breakfast each morning and I spent half of what her hotel cost, she was outraged! I cannot say enough good things about the staff and the facility. Next time I go to Portland, I'll definitely stay at this hotel.

Comfort Inn Portland Hotel

I had never stayed at a Comfort Inn and have little experience with motels in general. So this place may be ""standard"" to its category and I am not aware. We found it to be in an excellent location since we needed easy access to/from the airport and to the downtown. It is just off the freeway but quiet, very clean, and comfortable. The bed was very nice and though we missed the complimentary breakfast, it looked fairly decent (waffles, cereal, coffee, teas, juices - hey, it's included so that's not bad). The front desk people were friendly and helpful. It was 4 pm and I asked if it was too late to go to the Japanese Gardens. She immediately got on line, informed me they closed at 7, told how quickly I could get there, and printed directions in a flash. Her input was the deciding factor that encouraged us to try to go and we were so glad that we did. The pool was nice enough and the jacuzzi very hot! I would recommend this place to couples, singles, and families.
