Great staff, clean room, parking costs bad, forced into paying valet parking, a deal for breakfast would have been nice.

Such a pleasant experience

Pros: All of the staff were outstanding and extremely helpful. Location was perfect for walking to shopping and a show. Room was very comfortable.
Cons: Providing some type of TV guide would be nice. Also, a menu for the restaurant/bar in the room would have been helpful.
Location: Easy walk to Lloyd Center (shopping) and Moda Center & Coliseum (entertainment). Great food in the restaurant.
All of the staff I had the opportunity to interact with were professional and kind. A couple went out of their way to make this an outstanding experience. The room was very clean and comfortable - every thing I needed was provided. The common areas in the hotel were equally inviting. Looking forward to my next stay.

Good location, service, comfy room for 4 not 5

Everything you expect, comfy bed, clean, great location in the city, and would use it again. Parking is expensive, $25!! And breakfast is decent $14 buffet but we preferred elsewhere for a better buck

Amazing staff. Hotel is 'ok'.

Pros: The staff.
Cons: The floor in our room was dirty -- no doubt. You could tell by the dirt you'd see when taking a shower coming off the bottom of our feet.
Location: We needed to be at the convention center for a few days -- and its easy walking distance. Great foot around there too.
For the cost -- we were expecting a much nicer hotel. However -- everything was clean and we were comfortable there. But what blew us away was how nice EVERYONE we interacted with -- the hotel staff -- was. Front desk, ESPECIALLY the house cleaning staff (they were just awesome), and the servers in the BLVD. I'm guessing the 'summer rates' plus convenient location justified the price.

Nice hotel, convenient location

This is the 2nd time I have stayed at this hotel. I like the location as it is close by downtown and a short drive from NE Portland, which seems to be the neighborhood we tend to go to for eating and shopping while visiting Portland. The valet parking is convenient but a little spendy. Hotel is clean, modern and comfortable. I wish it included a little more, like complimentary coffee in the lobby or breakfast. There is a restaurant inside so that is your option for food and room service. With so many great places to eat in Portland it makes most sense to go to a place in the city for food. I just wish the price was a little lower since it doesn't include what is now expected of most hotels. Oh, and room doesn't include a microwave. Has mini fridge, coffee maker, iron and hair dryer, but no microwave.

Very nice

This was our first time to Portland, this hotel is in the convention center section more so than downtown. Access to public transportation was very close and the hotel was very nice.

Not quite downtown, but train close by.

Location: Nothing near by other than the convention center. This includes nicer restaurants and convenience stores. Starbucks is opening down the street soon.
Max train station 5 minutes away. Easy public transport. Be warned, there is only valet parking at this hotel at $25 a day. Plan ahead if you have a car. Otherwise, nice and comfortable.
