This a interesting Boutique hotel. Nice vibe but pretty quiet during the week. Restaurant remains closed. Bar is fun when it's open. Not all the rooms have windows so beware if you want to see what's up at street level. We didn't see housekeeping once during our 3 day stay. The hotel could be a very fun place. The staff were very nice, attentive and helpful.

This hotel was exceptional! Each room had its own unique style and decor. The game room on floor 2 was a big hit with my teenage daughters. Every single staff member was friendly, hospitable, and very helpful. We were given excellent recommendations for restaurants, and things to see/do. ***My only complaint is with booking through Travelocity; I will never do that again! As soon as I realized I made a mistake in booking July 31-August 6, when our checkout date should have been on August 5th instead- I immeadiately began sending emails/texts/numerous virtual chats (w Travelocity staff) saying we simply needed to move our checkout date up by 1 day. I kept getting the run-around, with few real answers. Upon verbally informing multiple hotel staff of our 1 day earlier checkout, we were assured by staff, this would be corrected. When August 5th came, there were no hotel staff working that morning, who could neither affirm nor deny we told them about leaving 1 day sooner. Therefore, we were charged for spending August 5th at the hotel- even though we were in airports, TSA, on airplanes, etc……and never stayed in any hotel rooms in the Hotel Vintage Kingtom on 8/05/2021. So, we would greatly appreciate a full refund to our Chase Rewards VISA card, in the amount upon which it was charged for August 5th, 2021. This hotel was was in the center of the action and beautifully decorated. Big shout out to the front desk, Margorie, Ryan, Rhaya and the chief engineer Mike went out of their way to make our experience in Portland top notch. I highly recommend this hotel and don't miss the wine hour!

Got great rate. Read review about noisy room. We had 2nd floor room by elevators, party rooms and staff stuff and it was quieter than home. No street noise and no hall noise! Room wasn't huge but windows were great. Cool place with nice staff and fun bar. Totally recommend.

Yummy experience in downtown Portland

Pros: Friendly staff, hip and lovely decor, spacious and clean room
Cons: N/A
Location: Great location! Easily walkable. Lots of coffee shops, restaurants etc on Broadway, and easy walking to Powell's bookstore and other restaurants.
I have to admit, when I first saw the Kimpton Vintage, I thought it was referring to a throw back of a bygone era with cutesy decor--like a vitage thrift shop. How pleasantly surprised I was to discover that it meant vintage, as in wine, with each room named for a vintner, and the namesake bottle available for sale. Five stars to this overall experience. Warm, welcoming and hip lobby; friendly staff, spacious and well appointed room. What more could you ask for? Well, a glorious downtown location within easy walking to fabulous restaurants and hotspots. Enjoyed every moment, and hope to return in the not-too-distant future.

Clean and cool

Pros: Everything!
Cons: Nothing!
Location: Centrally located. Within easy walking distance of Powel's Bookstore, great restaurants, designer furniture and clothing stores and the river front.
The hotel is centrally located in downtown Portland with easy driving access. But I didn't need my car...could walk everywhere I wanted to go in downtown. And the staff all were very helpful and knowledgeable about the city. Loved the decor and vibe. The hotel has a bar on the ground level, and a "game" room on the second level with big screens and a pool table for those who want to play. It also has bikes for guests. The room was super clean and and nicely appointed. The bed was very, very comfortable...the sheets were high quality and felt wonderful.

Great location. Great remodel.

Cons: Our sleep in room 418 was often interrupted with street noise at approximately 3 AM. Sounded like garbage trucks.
Location: Tasty & Alder is nearby. We had a wonderful dinner. Be sure to take advantage of the complimentary bikes.
Everything was wonderful at The Vintage Hotel. We arrived prior to 3 PM, but our room was ready. Since we were two friends travelling together, it was a plus that the hotel was able to provide a room with two queen beds. The newly remodeled lobby was inviting and appropriate for a "wine themed experience." Staff was very helpful with suggestions where to eat or where to catch the Max or where to ride the complimentary bikes (plus helmets & lock) that the hotel provided. Weather was perfect during our stay. We participated in the Wine Tasting in the lobby from 5-6 PM on three different occasions. The local winery representatives were a wealth of information. Al from Solena Winery was especially helpful. We were unable to make arrangements for a wine tasting tour on Thursday, but thanks to Al's explicit directions we rented a car and did our own to Solena, Willakenzie Estate and Saffron Fields Vineyard plus an excellent lunch at Horseradish Café in Carlton.
