Simply outstanding

Pros: Beautiful location, wonderful staff who make u feel that they truly appreciate you being a guest, beautiful and spotless rooms, OUTSTANDING restaurant
Cons: Bed was OK but not the most comfortable of the ones we enjoyed in the various hotels we stayed at during our vacation
Location: Shop, lay on the beach, day trip to Sorrento or Capri
Positano is a great place to visit with a breathtaking location perched over the Amalfi coast. It has quality restaurants and is a fun place to enjoy the sun. It is has romantic setting and is a great spot to people watch as they load on and off the ferries.

Beautiful room and gorgeous views

Pros: Free breakfast, Close restaurants, Free Internet, Quiet
Positano was the third city we visited in Italy. We were in need of some R&R and Buca di Bacco was the perfect place to for just that. Our room overlooked the water and it was just gorgeous. We enjoyed drinks outside at the restaurant/bar and the staff was incredibly friendly - they answered any question we had. The place was always clean and smelled like a vacation-land. Easy access to boats to visit Capri and Amalfi. We had an amazing time here.

The friendliest and cleanest hotel in a great location

Pros: Free breakfast, Close restaurants, Free Internet, Quiet, incredibly helpful staff
Located in the pedestrian center of Positano right on the beach, the Hotel Buca di Bacco is a gem. Our room and balcony overlooked the ocean and the landmark church next door. The room was spotless, included breakfast buffet was terrific and the hotel offers it's guests a discount on lunch and dinner in their restaurant. Hotel staff offered and made a special breakfast for us when we had to leave the hotel early, for the airport. Next visit to the Amalfi Coast, we will stay at Hotel Buca di Bacco.
